black panther is the king of an african nation, however wonder womans island is fictional and thus it's up to the director to construe it as he may, wonder woman is a a character who could really be played by any race, I don't see why beyonce can't do it....as long as they dont make wonderwoman a musical it'd be fine

Maybe because the source material is based off of a white woman. If it was another woman from her home then ok but a black woman calling herself Diana whatever that last name is, is just stupid. There are white people in Africa so what is stopping Tom Hanks from being that king?

because a large part of the black panther comics has been the fact that black panther was black, wonder woman being white was never really a big part in her stories, a more apprpriate comparison in my opinion would be making steel or john swtewart a different race...which I dont see a problem with
