i think the effects are used more effectively in two towers, they arent just for eye candy like in alot of the new star wars movies, and i think the new star wars movies cant touch the lord of the rings.

plus, i think the golumn was everything lucas wanted jar jar binks to be, he provided alot of comic releif without being overwhelming and annoying, but had a very pivital and important part in the movie. unlike jar jar who was just there to be silly for no reason.

No I dont, but remember one thing, they have drilled Orlando pretty much in handling the bow, it like when there are a warmovie, they always sends the actors to bootcamp, because they dont know how they are going to handle a M-16, so Il guess that Orlando has been drilld a lot, they dont just give him the bow, and say...do your best...HELL NO, he is good in handling it, I dont know about his shooting capabilities but he sure can handel the BOW!!!!!!!!

That would be fine if he was actually using the bow in the way a bow would be used in real life. He is not; he is using it as a stunt prop. You can't compare it with the use of, for example, Garands in Saving Private Ryan.

okie well I must say I agree with ush his review

tho some things I have to add
first I am glad that finaly someone didn't start nagging about gimli being ridiculed which wasnt the case imo
second I think that they should have kept the line of the book a bit more
third some changes on the other hand were very cool
think this could indeed be the best of the three

TTT is not better than FOTR, and PJ has said that return of the king will be the absolute best, so I don't think TTT could be the best of the trilogy no.

I am of the opinion that Two Towers was the weakest part of the story, not that it is bad but in my opinion both FOTR and Return of the King is better stories ......jmho

when I've seen it a couple of times I think I'll find it and FOtR equally good.

I saw it today and I liked it.
But still I think they could put more special effects in it.
