Though similar on certain aspects, McClane's are more impressive, when we get to the fancier ones. So that's another clear win for him.
The only way I see Riggs winning, is if he has a sniper rifle, McClane is in the open and Riggs is far enough away where McClane can't shoot him first or use something from the environment like a car, truck, zippo, toaster or what have you, to kill Riggs first.
McClaine needed an SUV to beat a GIRL. She pwned him H2H like a red headed stepchild. He was beaten by a GIRL.
I dont remember the thread starter arming McClaine with a car, a truck, or a household appliance. Bare hands, that's all, in the H2H scenario.

Martial arts is nullified by its inclusion under "all that shit you mentioned".
I didnt mention McClanes varius armaments as its diverse but not reflecting McClane's superiority through creative thinking..
Not much thought seemed to go into the surfboard accident as it was an accident. The stilts thing had been done in 'Hannibal Brooks' in the sixties. (And he pre-emptively 'out-originalitied' Riggs by using an Elephant to pull out the stilts)

He wasn't beaten, as it's been told and re-told to you that she died, horribly too. Riggs couldn't beat a 5'3" little Asian man, he needed his side-kick, as typical.
And McClane has kicked a lot more ass using bare hands than Riggs has, despite not having his fancy thai chi skills, just basic boxing/grappling skills and demigod-like durability.
Edit: McClane would choke Riggs with his own mullet in H2H, fact.

Second, we've been debating and using examples from the movies to show how much more bad-ass McClane is when it comes to killing, be it with guns, hands or anything from the environment.
And Riggs could just sprinkle broken glass all over the place and sit back smoking as McClaine walks all over it.
