It depends, if I can get a free preview at the cinema then I will, if not, I'm not wasting £12+ to see a Rob Zombie film, so I'll wait till rental or borrow someones DVD.

I'll definitely be buying the DVD the day it comes out. This movie was awesome, and I still feel that it's the best of the entire series thus far.

The movie was terrible. He turned him into a bit of a jasonesque character. I hated virtually every scene with sherri moon. Why can't the guy leave his wife out of any of his films. She was killed off in the first one yet she seems like she has more screen time in this one. I wasn't a big fan of the first halloween remake but it's far superior to the sequel imo.

The original franchise has eight films, the new franchise has two. It's a new franchise.

Not at the moment, it's on hold apparently. Go take a look in the Halloween 3D topic. That's the third film that might be coming.

Yep, the Weinsteins talk about how they felt they were rushing H3D but that's bullshit. Point blank, they don't have the funds for the movie, and need $2.5 million to get this off the ground. It'll likely start shooting next year in November, once Lussier is fully finished with the project he's working on now.

Well, from what I've been hearing the script that Todd Farmer turned in for H3D was pretty damn good, so even with the 3D aspect attached it could be a pretty good movie if Lussier can bring the script to life.
I'm all for more Halloween movies. I love this franchise.

Does anyone think Rob zombie should stop beating a dead horse ? Michael Myers became very boring by part 5 and to continue squeezing and trying to get every last penny out of this franchise to me just shows lazy film making and story writing.

How is he beating a dead horse? Just because you think Michael Myers became boring by five doesn't mean everyone else who is a fan of the franchise thinks so, and should think they should stop making these films, because there are a hell of a lot more people who want more films as opposed to wanting them to stop making them. There's absolutely nothing wrong with more films, especially since the franchise has such a longevity and is, in my opinion, the best horror franchise out there.

The psychic link isn't really all that touched upon in the film, or at least not to the extent that it was done with Jamie & Michael in H4 & H5. Either way, what Zombie did incorporate as far as the psychic link goes was brilliant, imo.
