"I felt there were a lot more Star Wars stories left to tell," said George Lucas, executive producer of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. "I was eager to start telling some of them through animation and, at the same time, push the art of animation forward."

It should be up to the thread starter. "Anakin versus Robocop. ROTS Anakin only, AOTC Anakin only, AOTC/ROTS and Thr Clone Wars anakin."
Just like the thread starter has to specify conditions, they should have to specify which movie versions.

You're really going to try and push this nonsense through just for the sake of boosting a SW character in thread?
Mind you, it's going to create a turd that will leave an unbearable lingering smell until end-times, far worse than your sudden need for 'hero morals' to apply when a certain character was facing off against a certain SW character.
So do think about it please.
(E.G. Batman has had several animated movies, which give Batman ridiculous abilities compared to the movies.)
So are you trying to say that he didnt approve them? That he just let them do whatever they wanted? Surely he read the script and screened the movie, and gave it his nod of approval.

Did these animated Batman movies have a theatrical release? If not, then you are opening a whole new can of worms. Some might argue that since a movie went straight to video it doesnt count.
And I havent even seen the Clone Wars, why would I be trying to push a movie I havent even seen?

Clone Wars is nothing more then 3-4 Clone Wars:series episodes linked together and sold to the unsuspecting general public so GL could make another million(s). You know this.
Because someone else did as a means to have the SW characters win this thread win.
Dude, I really dont care anymore, I just think a decision should be made. And no matter what the decision is, I'll abide by it. This is getting way out of hand.
I have made it clear my stance in this, as have you and the others, now it's out of our hands.

Whether I personally have to accept EU, regardless of its release at a cinema, as canon is up to me.
It was three episodes of a kids CGI cartoon based on Starwars edited together and released at the cinema. I'll be long dead in the ground before I accept that shit as overiding PT/OT canon.

A decision should never have come into play to begin with. Considering you've never watched the animated movie and apparently know little to nothing about it, you really shouldn't have an opinion towards it being in-line with the films or not.
Do yourself a favor and watch it, it's not completely horrible, just go into it expecting a show made to appeal more to children than adults. You'll agree that including it is nonsense, I believe.
edit: who brought it into play in here to begin with?
Gender: Unspecified Location: With Cinderella and the 9 Dwarves
Nope, I am saying he didn't write them, he let them be written. The problem is, some are just not compatible, as they are from a totally different source. And a reasonable debate is not possible if two different characters can be taken into account.
So you would Agree, Dr.Will, that if there is contradiction, that the saga episodes 1-6 win out in terms of canon over the contradicting element most recently established...?
Clone Wars cartoonery accepted over the events/history/rules of the actual 'movie' movies would be the worst idea since Greedo shooting first.
In fact it'd make that look like chickenshit.

There is very little in the CW cartoon that contradicts the live action films. When Mace Windu crushes GGs lungs, that is canon. When Yoda lifts a mountain, that is canon.

Contradicted directly by this time round in the CGI clone wars Grevious already having the appearance that Mace's attack left him with.
I gotta disagree on that second point there, Will.
That occurred only in the cartoon. Which is EU.
Its like Mace's machine gun fists etc.
And if Yoda could move a mountain, he'd probably done something like that against Sidious in his ROTS battle when the fate of the Galaxy was at stake.
And Mace would have used those machine gun fists and ridiculous speed against Palpatine to save his own life if he could do it...
Doesnt take a permission slip from Lucas to see and acknowledge something as blatant as that, surely.
And like Robtard says: Padawans with Padawans= Poo.
