just some awards for stuff in comics from the past year to this day (08-09).
the nominees are up to the board.

- best hero and heroine

- best villain male/female

- best costume male/female

- best comic movie

- best book

- best writer

- best artist

- best arc

Still thinking up some answers but:

Best Heroine: Kitty Pryde. Marvel's top heroes stood watching as the Earth was about to be destroyed. She sacrificed herself to save it.

Best Comic Movie: Clearly Dark Knight. Iron Man gets an honourable mention though. Incredible Hulk doesn't.

Oooo, I keep misreading posts, I just now say that it was for this year. I still think Bloodlines is a good story though. I guess I'll change it to Skaar's mini series.

Hero/Heroine - Batman and Janet Pym. They both were willing to die for the greater good.

Male and female villains - Darkseid and Lily Hollister, who's The Menace and Harry Osborn's girlfriend.

Best male and female costume - Iron Patriot and Power Girl.

Best comic movie - The Dark Knight & Ironman. I can't decide.

Best book - GL or Ghost Rider.

Best writer - Geoff Johns for GL and JSA.

Best artist - Oliver Coipel for Thor.

Best arc - Sinestro Corps ended in early 2008. If that's not usable then it's a tie between Final Crisis and Dark Reign. and Ghost Rider/Zadkiel arc.

This is a decent thread, I may have to take back some of the things I've said about Psycho Gundam....
