Since WWH is the Hulk at the height of his feats, it seems only right that WW also gets her best feats and, going with that, what exactly did WWH really do to justify beating her? Did he suddenly gain lightspeed combat? I ask you because I think you know the answer. He did nothing that could remotely justify beating Wonder Woman if they are both at their best, other than the age old sub-text that usually goes on here, which is she loses because someone just doesn't like her as a character.
Because your mention of how much Marvel characters were jobbing to the Hulk and how exxagerated his abilities have been made out to be led me to believe you know that he did nothing that could justify beating WW if we go by feats.

And being hurt by Power Girl? I know, I know. "She's Kryptonian, any Kryptonian would murder the Hulk." That's always the standard argument. Just like anytime anyone takes down or puts up a good fight against Superman they're automatically > any Marvel brick. I know usually you don't resort to that logic, but that seems to be a common theme among the more DC-slanted posters.
WWH walked through Blackbolt's voice and his skin was tough enough to not be cut by adamantium. That's pretty durable as you know. More durable than getting busted up by one shot from Hawkman, etc.
...I don't like Hulk, so I hate defending him...and in particular, I hated that arc. But just like Sentry, he gets a horrible rep on here. If entire teams of Marvel Earth couldn't take him down, and Worldbreaker (last version indicated after the merge) needed a plot device to be taken down, one person...AKA Wonder Woman, is not doing it.

Plus if superman had an adamantium claw, you bet hulk would get cut. It's not like wolverine is so strong that he could push it thru.

any standard kryptonian is in the thousands of tons, firstly, so the power girl point is moot. it doesn't set a precedent.
i'm not even going to argue despero's durability, as it's always seemed to me to be grossly unequal to his strength, which at times has been VERY impressive. i was just curious as to why.
funnily enough, i love the hulk. everything up til the end of planet hulk, and peter david and so on, i adore, but since then... bleh.
again, though, if we're going to argue current despero, we have to go by the trinity one, who iirc didnt do a whole lot...
i'm trying really hard not to be a smart arse here. you spoke about the DC-slanted posters and their attitudes. I know some are bad, and they've been dealt with in the past (Galen, for instance). The kind of posts certain people make though, because they seem to hate DC, only incites trouble and causes those reactions.

anyone who knows me knows my opinion of the konvikt fight, but the facts remain that superman himself said he was hitting him with the power to, what was it, shatter small moons? thats impressive.
despero shifts a lot (i remember when he got embarassed by young justice. shame that book isnt around anymore, some great reddy characterisation in that book), but he has some awesome high feats. v&v is one, and his short arc in jla is another. yes, his durabilty does suffer with certain attacks, but his strength and his telepathic ability has rarely been called in to question with some very nice instances.
you think wwh is stronger? fine. i might even agree with you. but the way it's presented just doesn't help. shit-canned? a bit of an exagerration, no?
i sat down recently and read through a darkseid thread, and the spew coming from some people... it's going both ways, and one side complaining about it rarely helps if they're just going to make posts that are designed purely to get a rise out of people. this isn't you in particular i'm talking about, this is the forum at large. I was supposed to post the new rules last week, but i got sidetracked due to some personal issues.
way it is, is this. bada and i have talked about. trolls get away with far too much. bada and i aren't idiots. we see the veiled insults and digs thrown around. we'll deal with them the best way we know how.
and yes, i know we've said this before, but honestly, something always seemed to get in the way, be it forum issues or personal business, whatever. i'll be posting the new rules up as soon as i can, and we're going to start weeding out people who aren't here to debate properly.

Hmm...Raoul, Shaggy Man's durability is crap though. And I think WWH is physically stronger and more durable than Despero, so that in a purely physical, H2H brawl, he'd win.
Yes, Superman said he was hitting Konvikt with the force to break small planets. Konvikt's durability to blunt objects seems through the roof. But piercing weapons? Red Arrow's arrows, man. But! I do think Konvikt vs. WWH would be a great fight, so that exaggeration is my bad there. I actually made that thread months back. And voted for Konvikt lol. I've just changed my mind.
