Wow, that was expensive. If I'm going to spend 15$ on XBLA, I'll rather pick up Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie rather then some maps. Anyone remember how much the previous map pack costed?
I think it is worth it because is more than just the maps. There will be new weapons, Special Ops, challenges, titles/emblems. I wouldve rather it was 800 points but Ill live with it.

That's nothing but a rumor I highly doubt there's more content, excluding the 5 listed maps.
BTW is there a source that shipment is making this map pack? Fourzerotwo only said Crash and Overgrown but I'd be VERY happy if Shipment was in it because as of right now there's not really a great 1v1 map (admit it, Rust isn't great) where I could brush up my total wannabe "quickscope" skills.
As for the perks and weapons, how the heck is that gonna be balance if only some people get exclusive perks and weapons? That'll never happen and if it did then it would be available to everyone. And while I'm at it, those rumored perks suck balls. Heterochromiac, seriously? Overkill would pretty be useless as we have a lot better secondaries in MW2 and plus Overkill was never useful in CoD4 either. Quickhands MIGHT be useful for Sniper/Shotgun users but that's it.
TL;DR version: Most likely those rumors posted by Darth Vicious, is mostly likely fake and is as dumb as the 10 prestige master key rumor.
I totally agree with you. Price way too high but I'm still getting them anyways because I play this too much (not to mention competitively). Getting it day one and learning all the trick jumps in private match. xP
I wonder why there isnt more information about this map pack besides the announced maps. For $15 I hope those features I posted are true. At least give us the maps and some special ops.
As for new weapons/perks balancing the game, Its pretty much the same as when someones a rank 1 competing against a level 50+. Unless everyone's the same level, there will always be someone at a disadvantage. Which shouldnt matter because im sure a lot of us here do pretty good against higher rank players every time we prestige.
I guess we wont have to wait too long as the map pack is scheduled to be released March 30th.

Anyone else gotten the Omnicide challenge done? It's the "Kill the entire enemy team within 10 seconds". It was one of the few Challenges I had personaly given up any hope of ever getting, sounded way too hard. But today in a free for all match I suddenly got it, it was a combination of Predator Missile, attack helicopter and airstrike (I think that was the combo) and some noob-tubing, and suddenly it popped up. Caught me really off-guard.
I think I got it on team Deathmatch using a Chopper Gunner. For some reason they all died around the time I got my C.G and they obviously had no common sense because they all ran outside. It was on Wasteland.
Did anybody hear about 10 prestige hackers getting banned?

Someone mentioned online that they are banning those that are 10 Prestige with less than 15 days(leaderboards) on the game. IF it is true, it's a good way to filter who has cheated but im sure it wont catch everyone.

Yea, if it's true then that'll pretty solve the whole problem. Though all of my 10th prestige friends haven't been banned yet so I doubt they done it. I know for sure that they are banning some Jtagged Xbox's (modded) but that's only a small percentage of 10th prestige-rs.
