Current Warlock doesn't have the firepower to take down Marvel.
Classic...........I think speed is the deciding factor, plus Marvel has a strong magic based invulnerability. Example: the tesseract bomb from the Void Hound. Not getting into soul suck, because I have no idea whether Shazam's power provides protection from that.

We don't have a gauge on current Warlock's power yet. His (hopefully) upcoming battle with Vulcan will be the first true benchmark for him, and even that won't amount to a definitive stance on his power since it's only one fight.
He did transmute a planet into some unknown metallic substance, so he's not without impressive abilities though. But as of right now, this battle is a feat-lacking wash.
I am, but I'll admit that I much preferred Classic to what he's become recently. He seems to be lacking a strong character in general. He was always stoic, but his presence was so much more pronounced and awe-inspiring than it currently is.
Yeah, I don't like the new spin on him. He needs more confidence, but all things change in comics sooner or later. Maybe he will become more confident as gotg progresses. He was awakened before he should have been so at least that explains the reason why he is the way he is.
