A lot of games come from both sides, Americans and Japanese. Which side do you think makes the better games?
Oh come on Nemesis, "American"? What you mean to say is western, I mean hell, look out how many European developers there are. There is no such thing as "American versus Japanese", its East versus West.

Scratch that. I am going to have to go with American.
Gutiar Hero/Rock Band over DDR and Stepmania games.
Might explain the obesity in the states.

As a blatantly racist Londoner, i can tell you right now that there is no difference! They both drop the 'U' in 'Colour' and claim to speak English!

And we spell colour - colour.
What's strange about Canadians not speaking American English?
We're Canadian, not American. Both countries were British colonies but we got Independence differently. The monarchy is still represented in our gov't.

It boils down to this...
Mass Effect 2 >>>>>> Final Fantasy 13
Yes I went there.

Comparing Mass Effect to Final Fantasy would be like comparing Heroes to Lost.
Not a good comparison for Mass Effect.

LoL.
Comparing 2 games with 2 dozen games over 20 years is tough. I am merely wondering how each game will push their genre/franchise forward.

Smart. I just wanted to spice things up.
And although I am sure I may like FFXIII, I don't think it will deliver the kind of Role Playing experience ME2 did.
