You're right, it was a joke, and judging someone based on their sense of humour is entirely valid and sensible.

Dan Harmon making a short film about him being a baby rapist was a 'joke', but I still think he's a creepy piece of shit.

You bring up a valid point. It's not a joke I'd make, but at the same time, it was blown out of proportion. There are people (and content) on the internet that pales that in comparison is all I'm saying.
