Thanks guys. Yeah I'm not sure why I'm even more driven to try it now. Not out of some sort of death wish type thing. But anything worth doing comes with a little fear. As long as I'm careful I think it'll be good to try

I think riders know the danger it poses, but like you say, anything worth doing, especially things you love, comes with inherent danger. I can totally understand the appeal of the motorbike, despite it being terrifying to me. It's got that unbridled freedom to it, especially with all the roads and stretches of wilderness in America.
