Also yes, the book is swell. I do dig that so much of the dialogue was ripped straight from the book which was solid. And the americanized references help it along on my end. The Beta Band is dope also.

I need to properly watch the film eventually, I just can't see Jack Black as that character, I see him more as a dopey stoner hipster guy who speaks in a drawl

But I could be wrong... been a bunch of years since I read it
