I think I have about 1.5 days worth of music here. A 30gb could hold at least a week's worth or so, I think. But I think over 1000 songs is just silly, since it makes 'shuffle' really hard to find a song you want.

Ur prolly right. Each Meg is usually(not always) a minute of playtime so...... 30g=30,000megs, theres 3,600 minutes in a day so thats around....... 8 days. DAMN

Well if you're just one of those people with a diverse music appreciation, then a large amount is understandable. But 8 days is just to brag about. But its a good excuse to share an earbud with a cute girl. If you have any song she might desire.

True! I have an old iPod which is 18gb, but the main reason for it is just so if I or one of my friends ever need to hear a certain song I don't have on my personal ipod, I have that larger ipod, which is like my portable iTunes.
