Plus if I didn't like any pianists, I hadn't have mentioned the works of people I did like with piano in, would I?

Bands such as the White Stripes (which I know Strangelove is a fan of) have favoured piano in the past; their Get Behind Me Satan album had a lot of piano work on but still ranks as my favourite White Stripes album.

Green Day, a band I have said to like � Which I can confirm now � integrated piano work into their latest album; if I didn't like pianists, that'd mean I wouldn't like Billie Joe, right?

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, the Doors, all rank among my favourite bands, utilised piano in their work, so does this mean I don't like then? Of course not. That would be stupid of me.

I like pianists; I do not like artists who center their entire work around slow piano playing, such as the artist Strangelove presented, or Coldplay.

So, Walshy, who is the fool again?

it's funny how formally you phrase things sometimes; "the artist Strangelove presented" =P

Check out "Consequence of Sounds" also by Regina Spektor, you might like that better.

i never even said that you didn't like any pianists and i wouldn't call Billie a pianist really, uses the piano occasionally but like a proper pianist, then you say you like pianists then say that you don't like this kind of style of piano, then you assume you're smarter than me

Ben Folds was one I could never really get into. He's kinda the music I can tell why people like it but don't really listen to it myself.

Someone who plays the Piano is a Pianist. I don't play the ****ing recorder much, but I can play it, so I'm technically a Recorderist or whatever their name is.

Fair enough. I just thought of him because he's a brilliant pianist, but he's a true multi-instrumentalist as well. And there are a lot of his songs that don't revolve around piano.

Because I didn't mean Pianists, that's why. There are plenty artists who base their work around piano but have someone else playing it. That's why I made that difference.

I haven't really heard that much, mostly just on the radio, and I heard that song he did where Tim and Eric made the video for it.
