That blows.
I've had chronic insomnia for over a decade (PTSD related). The only thing that ever helped is nothing i'd recommend (heavy drinking which i dont do anymore).
Hope its just a temp thing for you.

My sleep issues aren't as serious or specific as that luckily, I think I just inherited a family gene that causes fatigue so it means I'm always tired as **** and feel sleepy most of the time, even when I get a good rest. Although I also find it really hard to get to sleep as well, even when I'm really tired

I don't really know what to do about it, but I agree with you about the drinking, I drank myself to sleep almost nightly in my first year of university and it wasn't a very good long-term solution

And agree on the drinking not helping, though it was fun figuring that out!

I passed my test in 2009 but this morning when I woke up at 4:20am it was the first time i ever drove by myself. Then after work i went to put petrol in but when i got to the pump I suddenly realised i didn't know how to open the petrol cap thing on my car.. Sooo embarrassing.. luckily the petrol station is literally just across the road from work so i parked back at work to figure it out and phone my dad so he can fix it like all ex army and current Pro wrestlers would do

But before he came i realised i have to put the key in the petrol cap thing to open it, which i never knew was a thing before.. But sure enough when my dad arrived to help he just waltzed up and did it straight away.. So annoying
