He cheapshotted Glads first, which was how he gained that advantage in the first place. Just like in their first fight, he sneaks up on Gladiator again while he's fighting Quasar. That's how he gets close enough to whisper in his ear.
You seem to be under the impression that all Majestros can do is punch and fly really fast. He's got powerful long range attacks as well. Which I'm going to go over shortly.
Looks as though that electron shield wouldn't be able to hold Hulk for long. Which matches what we've seen with other electron shields previously (Magneto comes to mind.) Majestic starts out at a level far beyond what Hulk has ever reached, so I can see him shattering BlackBolt's binding shield within no time. As for a defensive shield, yeah, no doubt BB could just make new ones. Assuming BB has enough distance between himself and the shield so that when it gets cut it won't actually reach him and take his head off. This is also assuming that BlackBolt can put up high-durability electron shields faster than Majestic can take them down...which I find unlikely since, if he needs to, he's got virtually light-speed combat reaction time as already shown. And that's what it pretty much boils down to with Majestic. If he needs to do something, he's going to do it. He had no real need to fight with nanosecond speed in many of his fights. But hitting Hadrian, a teleporter, out of midair? Needed it. Ditto with using his speed at all in combat, as he does when taking on Nemesis and Zealot simultaneously:
If you're curious at all about the first scan and what happened with Warblade...basically, Ladytron punched at Majestic, but had Warblade on her...he went into his nostrils and attempted to destroy Maj from the inside. Didn't work, of course, and Majestic as you can see wasn't even cut. That in itself is quite a feat, because:
Warblade can make his living metal 'infinitely sharp' enough to easily cut the alien metal Captain Atom is wrapped in....Hell, not that that matters, though:
With a scream, yes. With a whisper? No. A whisper didn't KO Gladiator, even when he did it point blank in his ear:
That's cool and all, but I hope you're not arguing that BlackBolt can fly as fast as the ship he is partially (or fully) powering?
Let's recap: Majestic has superior speed, combat speed, the ridiculous edge in strength, the edge in combat experience and H2H skill (I know BB has been trained by Karnak, but Majestic is still superior and I can prove it if the point needs to be argued), gets his Kheran armor and sword as standard equipment (proven [I hope] later), and generously roughly equal in durability. I say roughly equal because Maj has survived an explosion which totally destroyed the Earth and the moon, point blank, without a scratch on him. However, he doesn't have many more 'uber' feats in that area:
Now, the only thing that Blackbolt seems to have the advantage on is destructive energy output, most of which is theoretical and/or speculative, since a scream has never actually been seen on panel. Safe to say its planetary in scale, though, right? Meh, nothing new for Majestic, who has beyond planetary scale feats....with his laser vision!
As you can see in the scan, created a massive star and sculpted it using his laser vision. Huge power output right there. That's more powerful than anything Blackbolt has done on panel without an outside amp. So he has him beat in that department, too. But not only is it physically destructive, it can be used to alter the entire chemical composition at a 'pre-atomic' level of Jupiter, a planet over 300 times larger than Earth, nearly instantly:
Yes, that's right Majestic's laser vision has matter manipulation capabilities, on a plus-size planetary scale!
Nah, what I said was that he wouldn't know how to affect it at first, because its foreign. Alien tech doesn't equal alien biology. Sure, he might be able to manipulate it. But is he going to know what he's doing initially? No, I don't believe so. He'd need to know what nerve centers go to where, how x effects y, etc. But anywho, point is moot because of Majestic's invulnerable aura. However, if you do want to claim that BB can manipulate Maj's body...Maj would be cool with that. 'Cause he can do the same, again with his laser vision:
He rewrites Eradicator's synthetic biology faster than light (billions of process per second, faster than photonic pulses fire), granting him the ability to map out the entire multiverse. He basically made Erads into a sentient version of Starman's suit. And it took three Braniacs, 31st century alien tech, and who knows how many hours or days of prep for them to do that. That puts Majestic's intelligence and thought processing speed well above Superman or Braniac. Just for the lulz.
Meh, I said that he could block it with his blade, not that he'd cut through it. But regardless of what those scans seems to depict, almost always BB's whisper is shown drawn like a gust of wind or something. It is, afterall, electronic manipulation and would have somesort of visible effect especially to someone with Majestic's senses. Hell, he can sense a 'tiny' particle variance:
Not a big deal considering that an inferior sword than the one he's carrying was designed to absorb the heat of a thousand suns, plus his combat reaction and thought-processing time. Nor would it do him any serious damage if it were to hit. Nor would he need to get really close unless he chose to do so.
Meh, Majestic doesn't have many recent appearances. He's had the sword standard since the start of the new Wildcats run (Sept. 08) and had another blade pretty much ready whenever even as far back as 2005:
The armor he's had for the past at least 8 issues, dating back to '06.
Yeah, but as you already said, it was an amped and shared feat. With Reed's tech, no less. Just like he's got tech for his stuff in War of Kings right now.
Except that it didn't actually KO Glads, as already shown:
Are you referring to Inhuman tech powered by BB's voice again? Anywho...
Ah. Half a planet? Okay...now's the time to mention that he also has - basically - skyfatherish level energy/reality manipulation...capable of creating stars from nothing:
Check out how casual his laser vision is being used here, and yet it blows up a good sized portion of the planet:
Here he is vaporizing daemonites on Khera who had just finished slaughtering the Coda and were about to kill Zealot:
Blows a hole through this one's head:
And I've already shown his laser vision affect all of Jupiter almost instantly, as well as create and shape a star from it. Let's show maybe some other fun things. Him fighting on easily even after being wounded by the only things that can cut him:
And now maybe for some other, cute things against better known characters. Here, he ends up in Metropolis without any currency. What's he do? He crushes a pencil into diamond. Keep in mind that Thor thought he did this once with coal...but it was a telepathic illusion. Majestic? All real:
This is showing off his superior strength in a different way...a wormhole/blackhole opens up. The pull is tremendous obviously. Notice especially how even though Majestic is the closest to it, it is Eradicator who is having serious trouble. Not only that, but Erads is being shown blurred and distorted, while Majestic's body is fine (3-4):
This is against Captain Atom. First, notice how Captain Atom is flying at his absolute fastest, yet Maj easily catches and surpasses him, and takes his punch like its nothing. Ownage ensues:
Still in Metropolis he has to deal with a few members of Superman's rouge's gallary...Shakedown, Heatstroke, and Coldsnap. Who all go down in literally two pages:
And when the heroes go into the WS universe looking for the Ray Palmer, they get into a little tussle with the Authority. Kyle's a bit on the ropes against Apollo, and his construct is even cracking from the blows. Who stops Apollo's next punch? None other than the Kheran badass:
Heh. Before this occurred and while still in the mainstream DCU, apparently Majestic had owned Ion so badly that he took his ring! No worries...He gives it to Superman to return it:
Majestic takes this fight. Faster, stronger, superior fighter, superior intellect, invulnerable aura, incredible blade, massive destructive energy output, and even reality manipulation abilities.
Gender: Male Location: Planning to take over the WORLD!
i assume this is done. anyway, nice job by both. i knew most of what bolt could do and that's why i thought this would be a good battle. i THOUGHT i knew enough about majestros, but kudos to enyalus on a great job of showcasing many feats i'd never seen before and for putting together some really strong and convincing posts. i was very impressed.
i started off thinking majestros takes about 7/10. after seeing some of his feats, i might go higher even. the scream is ALWAYS a possibilty but it seems to me that might be the ONLY chance. i agree with eny that a whisper might do damage but i don't think it would take out majestros, just like it didn't completely take out glads at uber-close range. given basic knowledge of each other, majestros is clearly smart enough NOT to get in too close. his vision powers are FAR greater than i thought they were, and his speed advantage is far too great as well. bb might get a shield up, but if he does, can he use his voice through it? his shield is about the only thing that seems like it might keep him alive from either the sword, the vision OR just being pummelled at nano-second speed.
i think it is fair to say bb might manipulate the electrons in majestros, but i'm not sure he'd be able to do so fully or completely right from the start given majestros's alien biology.
smurph did a great job of showcasing his boy, but i think in this debate bb was simply outgunned by someone who, frankly, is a lot more powerful than i had thought he was. thanks for the entertainment gents. that was a nice demonstration of what a kmc debate SHOULD look like.
i had to ask, can't really judge with conviction if some rules aren't established.
and yeah, definitely a sick match, both debators brought heat.
ok, going with eny/mr. majestic here.
blackbolt is a very enigmatic character with holding back as the root of his character, the downside of that is there aren't a lot of balls-to-the-walls feats for smurph to choose from to beat a guy like majestros without looking like he's making shit up.
the scream is an asset that most likely MUST happen to give this to bb, but the effect of that event is still an unknown. for all we know it might shake loose the electrons from all the atoms in the solar system. or just the proportionate level of damage by using the sonic difference between a one syllable word and a full man yell. we do know a whisper can rock a us battle cruiser, and a word can take out a mountain(s) who can say you know? *
blackbolt has the offense to possibly win (electron manip, etc) but, it just seems that majestic will be on bb quickly, giving him hell before he can get fancy on his ass.
(* this all might very well change after "war of kings" concludes)

tbh, I'm not surprised. I knew back when I picked Black Bolt that I wouldn't back him up in an actual vs. match, but I wanted to challenge myself, and defs wasn't dissapointed. i liked that the match was fairly casual too, without usual tourney match tenseness or bickering on either side.
thanks for the match eny. I'd gladly rematch you at any point.
