I understand that Legendary is called Legendary for a reason. But it's completely ridiculous that a direct hit from a rocket launcher will only deplete the shielding of a en elite, not outright kill it.
Same with sniper rifles. It takes 3 headshots to kill an elite. With a gun that's only 10 rounds, that's a big waste.

2nd level I believe. Sadly this is the level ur not supposed to get in any vehicles if u wanna get the achievement. I'll get it after I beat it on legendary. I try using the forklift to block one entrance but then bastards then started going around it.
Them elites in white are way too smart. I would throw one grenade one side knowing he will jump to the other side and before he jump I would throw another one where he was about to jump only for him to land and jump right away out of the way. It took me about 45 minutes to beat two hunters on level 3.

The Elites are too annoying. ****ing roll is OP haha. If only they couldn't abuse them like they do >_<. Haven't touched Legendary yet, but I can tell it is going to be hell. Heroic is tough enough as it is.
It's doable though. Despite all the screaming, cursing, and desk pounding, I'm pretty sure I'm on like mission 5, and I'm going it alone.

Wait until you reach the final level. You're going to cry. And what was that about me being Halo'd out? Can never get enough Halo. I was just bored of the Beta's same 3 maps and same gametypes. This baby got so much stuff jammed in it its unreal
The hardest part about Legendary is how disproportionately stupid your allies' AI is compared to the enemies. It's so hard to go from Mass Effect where you can just press a couple buttons and your allies are covering you, to this, where your shitty partner says "He's yours, take him out... quietly." Then proceeds to jump out of his own ****ing hiding spot and fire wildly with his sniper rifle, missing every shot (because only the enemy AI has good aim, mind you), while I get lit up like a ****ing christmas tree because I was trying to be sneaky. Or how if we're getting torn up by elites I'll try to circle around their side using sprint and flank them while they're firing at him, which of course fails because the stupid mother****er follows me across the battlefield, even if it means getting shot 50 times.

It has always been like that in Halo's legendary difficulty. Your allies are basically meatshields that have no aim, no sense of urgency and worse of all cannot drive for shit.Problem is that since Noble team cannot die in gameplay they need to get toned down because they could just beat the game for you, sucks I know. If you ever feel like dying or wasting time for no reason at all let the AI drive you. Guaranteed ROFLCOPTER and/or anger. I'm more intimidated by that stupid roll the Elites have that make them so hard to hit. Then if you take into consideration how the mother ****ers are tanks that can take 4 headshots/rockets to the face and smile. Anyways just try to get a plasma pistol and DMR/Pistol combo and elites will go down like flies. That has worked since Halo CE and I don't see it changing now.
Yeah, took me a whole round of the Needler just to kill an annoying Elite. The assassinate from behind thing seems to be the most reliable way of killing them. You just have to sneak around 'em while they're distracted with someone else.
Oddly enough, I find myself actually somewhat enjoying the multiplayer. I favor Invasion and Infestation over Slayer modes, but even teamed Slayer gametypes aren't putting me off.
Campaign I'm almost halfway through. Co-opping Heroic with a buddy. Damn do those Elites get tough. We had a hard time with a Zealot at the Spire.

Been there, done that. I just want to know a faster way of ranking up. At this rate, not even beating levels on legendary will make my exp bar go up by a significant amount. I've been getting what accommodations I can though.
