Eversince the beginning of this month, Big Bro Slayer is all the rage and people online keep neverendingly team killing me all because I have the sniper rifle and the icing on this cake of madness is that when they betray me, I'm not given the option to boot them but when I kill them back just once, I get booted. What's with this bull****?
The servers I regularly play on are virtually hacker-free. The hackers that do pop up once in a while are usually banned in less than a minute. Fact is, the whole thing about Counter-Strike being infested with hackers is little more than a myth that springs from the sheer popularity of the game.

Not nearly as much chaos as there was in firefight before the patch. Or at least, not enough to warrant them doing it for all the other game modes as well... Having no friendly fire whatsoever in any online mode would just make the game duller in its own way, not to mention too unrealistic. Even if they did make team killing forcefully prohibited in everything else like they did firefight, it wouldn't stop the trolls from attacking or distracting the other people on their team anyway (even worse, you wouldn't be able to kick them). Most trolls do it because they can, not whether or not there's punishment involved.
The blue flames that you get when you add the iPhone Bungie app. They say everyone is gettin' them after June 23rd I believe but I haven't really checked out the buzz lately due to time.
Yeah, it's only a few days from now. People who have them early just seem to get a kick out of pretending to be Bungie employees with the nameplate and flames. Kinda annoying to some, but it'll subside when everyone gets em.
How do you know if someone you're playing against is a Bungie employee? I have the "Won against Bungie emlpoyee" medal but no idea when it was I played one of those guys.

Bungie employees won't let you know you're playing with them because eversince they did that in Halo 3, people kept annoying them by repeatedly asking "Can I has Reconz ?!"
And if anyone tells you they're a Bungie employee, they're obviously lying.

Usually they'll have that little Bungie logo in their gamer picture. I had one message me not too long ago because I recently played with him (or against him, I forget), and he asked if me and four others he recently played with wanted to know some glitches or somethin' not many people know of to where you can get outside certain maps. Didn't get involved with that though.
