I gotta say I'd never believed this but after seeing how well Pine pulled off Shatner's Kirk in Star Trek, I'd say he could totally be perfect as Cap!

I say...NO WAY...for Chris Pine to play Cap.....i just dont see it...i was not impressed with his performance and/or his talent...... they might as well put Jon Cena in the suit...i have seen his movies...and he is as good as Pine i.m.o...but i say none of them should play cap......though i dont have a better choice......a while back(when Troy was released) people clamoured for Brad Pitt to play him....i guess that might work

John Cena's as good of an actor as Chris Pine? Get your head out of your ass.

I agree! Chris Pine is great! John Cena sucks. Chris Pine did a wonderful job in Star Trek. He carried the movie on his shoulders.

Wow...such maturity..just grow up!..lets just disagree then.....Chris pine is as wooden an actor as i have ever seen....i.m.o.....i think it would be a disaster.....he was the worst of the bunch in the new star trek.

Looks like Steve Rogers is coming back in time for the movie.

Were you watching the same film? It's fine if you don't like Chris Pine, but he was anything but wooden. When I think wooden, I think Keanu Reeves/similar actors, but Pine was pretty damn charismatic throughout the whole film. Wooden is actually the worst word I can think of to describe his perormance. Like I said, it's cool if you don't like the guy's acting, but at least use an accurate word to describe it.

Chris Pine's a great choice for Captain America, but I say Mark Valley is still the ideal choice.

I completely agree, Chris Pine did a wonderful job carrying Star Trek. He made the movie interesting and I know he'll (if he's picked) do a great job.
I find it interesting that people are complaining about his size. I don't know he looks fit and in good shape. He may be a little short, but so was Robert Downey Jr. as Iron and Christian Bale as Batman, even worse Michael Keaton as Batman.
In the end it's all about the acting, and Chris Pine would be perfect!
