Not really, considering that H/P DD was in all likelihood more powerful than the version DS kept, and that when DS got him, DD was currently dead and thus not any problem to contain.
Also, in H/P Cyborg's uber technopathy probably ensured DD wouldn't be BFR'd.
SS isn't doing sh*t with direct cosmic energy attacks (such as the DNA thing) as on his level, it would be nothing but useless.
Let's not forget that DD was feeding on a guardians energy as well...
Unless it's galactus level..or several heralds worth of energy..that tactic isn't going to work.
Best best is still to use the PC for other indirect ways around DD.

He stated that DD had no internal organs.. nothing was ever said about a nervous system of some kind not existing.
Plus to have an effect on something, energy characters must use...energy...and thus the feedback. DD can adapt to energy fairly easily and keep moving as shown even prior to DOS.

Question: What if Doomsday were attacked at the Planck scale? This would be an attack on the most fundamental level, striking at the very essence of physical existence, waaayy pre-DNA (even way pre-atomic). I mean, if the source of his power lies in his DNA, what if DD were attacked vastly prior to where DNA influence kicks in?
Response: If a writer becomes aware of it, DD will adapt to it, cuz that's just the kind of character DD is. It's what he does.
Counterresponse: But no writer (afaik) has mentioned or even suggested this sort of DNA reach, therefore, dag-nabbit, it's still fair game here in the forum.
