You realize.... a .50 cal sniper rifle something thats real and powerful in our world but the starwars is nothing can shoot from more than 500 yards away. The commando sniper rifle has insane range. The Empire did not spare weapon technology when they made weaponry for them. The tanks would have way more range also. And lastly. Prep time? The OP said they LAUNCH an attack on Hogwartz. Which would mean Preemptive strike.

I was just using 500 yards as an example. Whatever the range is, extend the portkeys and/or age line to that point.

You are saying that the age line only works in that one room, and only around the goblet of fire. So why do all other spells work anywhere the wizard wishes? Why was Harry able to use a Patronus against the dementor near Privet drive? Why are spells used in Hogwarts used in the ministry? Location means shit. Spells can be cast anywhere at any time.

Dumbledore can set the age line so that no one under a certain age can cross it. Those inside the line at the time it is cast are fine, but people trying to cross the line trying to get in who are under the set age cannot cross it.

I have no proof? Dude, its an age line. No one under/over a certain age can cross it. This is said in the Goblet of fire movie, and there is a wiki link to further back that fact.
As for the clones blasting hogwarts, they have to get within range. If the age line blocks them from getting within range, what are they to do?

Wiki is creditable if the subject is in the movie. Lets say we are talking about Stormtroopers. On their utility belt, there is an item, but it is never explained what it does. Well, if a wiki article is found explaining what this item does, then it is creditable.
Or lets say we are talking about Han's blaster. A wiki article about it is a valid reference.
