I agree it wasn't that good... I can see why younger kids like this kind of stuff though, but i personally wanted to vomit

i love harry potter. i will say that the movies could have been better, but maybe they will get better with time. and i also think that they will have to get new actors for the 4th movie onwards, because its obvious that the original actors are growing up WAY too fast. that might stuff up the movies a bit, introducing new actors right in the middle of the movies.
but dont criticise the books!! they are classic, they always will be!!

To me Harry Potter is a childish version of the FAR BETTER Lord Of The Rings, but that's just me. cool

Sam: I know. Its all wrong. By rights we shouldnt be here...but we are. Its like in the great srories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of Darkness andanger, they were, and sometimes you didnt want to know the end because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened... but in the end its only a passing thing. The Shadow even darkness will pass. A new day WILL come. And when the sun shines it will shine out clearer. Those are the stories that stay with you and meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But, I think, Mr. Frodo, i do understand... iknow now. Folk in those stories have a lot of chances to turn back, but they didnt. They kept going because they were holding on to something!
FRODO: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That theres some good in this world, Mr Frodo and its worth fighting for.

I LOVE Harry Potter, though I am really a fan of the books!!! big grin The movies could have better. It was okay considering that for most of the child actors and actresses that played the trio and Harry's friends this was only there second time on the big screen, so give them a break! The second one was wayyyy better then the first! Though the one thing I did like in the second movie was the hints toward future relationships! big grin Also, the third film won't come out until June 2004, next year.

That is another thing. The books get better as Harry gets older, they get darker(gosh the fifth book is soooo dark), the plots become more complex, and more responsibility is put on Harry's shoulders. Most people have to force their way through the first and second book until they get to the third book, which I think is the best! So I think the same thing will apply to the films! I can't wait for the third film. . . I LOVE Sirius! big grin big grin big grin
