Spiderman vs Mr. Mxy (Read Stip)
Mr. Mxy enters the Marvel Universe (because he can do that) and he finds Spiderman to be most interesting. He begins to annoy him by teasing him with pictures of a red headed hot lady named Mary Jane for some reason. Spiderman wants to get rid of him and Mr. Mxy tells him if he can get him to say his name backwards he will go.
Can Spiderman (Peter Parker) get him to go away within a week?
Gender: Male Location: Hiding from The Doctor, shhhh.....
Spidey? Probably not. Deadpool maybe. He might convince Mxy to give him some just for the lulz. Let's not sell Joker short though. He's alot smarter than he lets on. And it almost certainly was not that easy to trick Mxy into giving him 99.99% (IIRC) of his powers.

^ pretty much. mxy has stated/shown [a few times] that the name backwards thing is a 'rule' he imposes on himself - a 'rule' he can choose not to abide by. if he didn't want to get beaten, it simply would never happen.
more on point, could peter 'trick' mxy into saying his name backwards? sure. could peter 'trick' mxy into giving up his power, like joker did? no way. remember, mxy went to joker for the sole purpose of giving him some of his power, because he'd gotten bord with superman. he then *supposedly* slipped up and told joker his 'secret name', subsequently giving up most of his powers.
but based on what the mxy twins said, that was all planned. he apparently did it to spice things up - hell, he even kept EJ's universe around, despite spectre seemingly erradicating it.... jus fur teh lulz.

Yea, that would require more work, it didn't just "happen", however I do believe he can trick him into "going away". I know he imposes it on himself though.
