Saphira(Eragons dragon) vs Smaug(of the lonely mountain)
If Eragons dragon was to fight Smaug whod win?
1 on 1 fight no extras
im leaning towards smaug since his underbelly is 99% armored with gold and jewels and he has way more experience
but saphira is much younger and probably more agile but im still leaning towards smaug
Yeah, Smaug pwns. He flies around, and burns her wings off. SAhe flies around, tries to cut out his stomach,. but lo! his belly is armored with jewels he allowed to sink in.

Right guys, if we are going solely on the movie saphira(the whole movie sucks and the characters are really dumbed down compared to the books) then smaug would kill her in a second. If we pick up where the inheritance books left off, that's a different story. Saphira has had training on combat tactics against other dragons, not to mention her mental powers and magical abilities that even she doesn't fully understand. I think using her mind alone she could invade smaug and take over using what she knows by the end of the book series. I honestly think smaug wouldn't stand a chance. And those of you who want to mention her age in comparison to smaug, remember, she shared in thousands of years of experiences with the eldunari from the vault of souls, so in experience she would at least match smaug, although he would undoubtedly be a lot bigger than her.
