Thing has never beaten Hulk. Not even Grey Hulk.
The only time he ever has was when Thing's mutation advanced, giving Thing a power boost. And he KO'd Grey Hulk.
Grey Hulk still has HF, durability, and his strength still increases. Much slower than Savage, but still increases.

Spikey thing OWNED grey hulk years ago before having to fight a Hulk droid owned by Dr Doom and then grey hulk again.
Current thing doesn't have the temper problems that spikey did, he owns grey hulk and goes for pizza.
