X-Men Legacy #219 was the last time anyone got Cain's personality and his relationship with Charles completely correct and should be required reading.
It's pretty disheartening as a Juggernaut fan to see every other time he appears he is either a sad sack or being treated like some D-List villain.
It's like the writers choose the worst aspect of his history to focus on and not the decades of other material.

So...Cain isn't really the Juggernaut any longer? The Crimson Gem made him the nearly indestructible and unstoppable villain we all know and love.
The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak are tough but have been broken quite a few time.
Why is Cain even trying to lay claim to the Juggernaut mantle now? I'm not even sure he could stand up to Zane Yama in his J2 form.
