That's the way I saw it and it definitely rocks, but the movie is so well done that I think it doesn't necessarily need the 3D.

Okay, so does anyone think that the events in JP2 and JP3 happened? I think they probably could have kept the events relatively hush-hush to keep investers onboard for the new park. The only thing is the events in San Diego from JP2 probably would have been more difficult to white wash.

Yeah, I knew it would be a big seller, so I got advanced tickets and they gave me this (below). I think it must have just been for advanced ticket holders because I didn't see anyone else with them. Pretty cool little souvenir and you're supposed to take a picture of yourself with it and hashtags some shit and become eligible for a prize.

Even advanced ticket sales were sold out immediately for IMAX in my area.

Cool prize

Really enjoyed this. Truly the sequel to Jurassic Park, and I'm glad for the name change now; calling it JP4 or some crap would not of done it justice.

I guess I'm the odd one out in saying that this movie was just okay.

Though...[SPOILER - highlight to read]: The T-rex & raptors vs franken-dino was pretty cool up until the end. Still shock that Bryce Howard made it through the entire film wearing heels.

I mean, I'm not gonna say this movie was totally groundbreaking like the first one was for its time, but truly worthy as a sequel unlike JP2 and 3. One major thing that'll keep the first one the best is how animatronics were used for the dinos then compared to the CGI for them now.

Good summer flick, and worthy successor to JP1. I guess JP2&3 dont exist anymore . Which isn't a bad thing. thumb up

They did go overboard with all the homages to the first JP though.

Do you think it's better than the first?

Also, The Avengers OW record is in jeopardy.

Dont really care. I enjoyed both films and they both deserve to make a ton of cash.

My sister swears up and down that it's better than the first. Not sure I agree, but it is better than 2 and 3, definitely.

Eh, I like JP2 more than 3, but not by enough that i'd really argue about it.

I'm not a big fan but TLW had the Rex attack on the camper and the long grass scene. Easily two of the best scenes in the franchise. JP3 had nothing.
