Meh. They both weren't good but I hated alot more about part 2 than 3. Thats how i made my conclusion.
At least 3 had less annoying characters than 2. Malcoms girlfriend and daughter were annoying. Even the sport hunter bad guy was lame. Kidnapping a baby T-rex was dumb. The long grass scene was ok but short. The Raptors after that were comically bad and clumsy in the abandoned center.
Then the end was also pretty dumb when the T-rex invades san diego.
JP3 had Pteranodons , the plane crash in the jungle, the T-rex vs. Spinosaurus, Raptor pack smart hunting, etc. Although not great, 3 bothered me less that 2.

Yeah, is kinda what I meant. And even the first movie used CG too, but not as much as this film. They're pretty opposite from each other in that aspect I guess, but eh, I still enjoyed both enough in terms of how the dinosaurs look and feel, though can see why others would criticize JW based on the CG also...
Same here. Either way it's just a matter of pick your poison between the two compared to the others.
This, pretty much. The annoying characters in JP2 ruined it. And JP3 was more straight down to business: show some fun dino action.
I did some reading about where they are taking the series after JW. There won't be a park anymore, but it will be about dinosaurs getting involved with industries and the coexistence of man and dinosaur. That will bring a whole new meaning to 'Jurassic World.' I also read that Trevorrow won't return to direct, which is a shame, because he did a fantastic job and even brought aboard some subversive qualities that i really appreciated.
There will probably be spill over from Saturday, since a lot of the showtimes were sold out. I say it will get a small bump, so TA OW record is still in jeopardy. Amazing performance, since I didn't think it would make it past 170.
