I'm more annoyed that they actually gave the Prince a name. He's just the Prince, damnit.

Mechner's involved and worked on the script, so hopefully they can't screw it up too badly.

And who cares if they don't look like they're Persian or whatever, it's based on a video game with supernatural elements from what I can remember(last time I played a Prince of Persia game was in the early 90s), not a documentary/historical genre film...
