On topic, seeing as everyone is trying to act like I'm killing more buzz than a murderous beekeeper; how about you list the reasons your forum experience will be dampened by not spoiling things and posting previews?
If you want to post and say "So and so preview art/covers/synopsis is up on Marvel.Com.", then provide a link, fine. Give us the choice to avoid it, though.
For example, Siege thread such as this. Obviously there are people who want to discuss via speculation about what awaits, as I did. However, I entered this thread and got most of the year's remaining comics ruined for me.
No the point is that, if you were oh so against ever seeing spoilers, you should not have come to this thread. EVERY thread of this kind has spoilers. If you came here and somehow got surprised and had stuff spoiled, you have nobody to blame but yourself... the implicit bargain you strike when clicking on a discussion thread in this forum, is that there will be spoilers in exchange for discussion of them.

That would have been good advice for YOU, since obviously you have forgotten that any thread is liable to contain spoilers. Either you did not know there would be spoilers, in which case you do not know how this forum works, or you knew there were spoilers and clicked anyway, in which case you have nobody but yourself to blame if the comics got spoiled for you.
I've been on this forum since 2004, I know how it works.
Do I really have to explain it a third time?
This isn't a spoiler forum, this is a discussion forum. Some people come here to discuss existing comics an speculate on upcoming events. Not have the current ones ruined.
Both kinds of fan exist here, so the ones that want things spoiled, or deliver spoilers, should be considerate enough for the ones who don't.
At the very least, I'm not telling you to stop spoiling them. I'm simply trying to protect our kind of fan, not remove yours.
You can put up spoilers all you want - people always read them anyway. They can't resist.

Nuul, you and your cheerleaders are whining about a legitimate complaint I have.
Glasses houses and all that.
Speak for yourself.
Then it truly IS their fault for reading. I don't read spoilers because I don't want it spoiled.
Why is this such trouble for you people?
You type this "[Spoiler]" before and after the spoilers, and that's it. You post them, I can read the thread and discuss the comics without being spoiled regarding stuff I haven't read yet.
Is it that important that you post solicitations here when we all know for a fact that they're on a billion other sites designed for that sort of thing?
JMS' version of Asgard has probably be the weakest since their depiction by Jim Starlin. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Hopefully we will actually see Balder take an active part in combat. Which he hasn't done since...1983??
Gender: Male Location: Training for the Fanboy Olympics
Honestly AC has a point just cause some people come here to be spoiled doesn't mean that they all do and we should be considerate of them. If there are synopses and pics from another link we should try to post the url. and If there are going to be people posting actual spoilers use the freaking spoiler tags. thats why they are freaking here
