Which books are on your reading list this winter?
I'll try to get my hands on some of the award-winning or critically-acclaimed books in these exam holidays.Though I know I wouldn't be able to read all of them(in just a 2-week break) I'll definitely finish atleast one. Here are a few:
the diary of Anne Frank,
Atonement,
Moth Smoke,
The shadow of the pomegranate tree
Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice
Charlotte Bronte - Jane Eyre
Emily Bronte - Wuthering Heights
Alexandre Dumas - The Count of Monte Cristo
William Faulkner - The Sound and the Fury
Robert Graves - I, Claudius
Joseph Heller - Catch 22
John Knowles - A Separate Peace
Harper Lee - To Kill A Mockingbird
George Orwell -1984
Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged
John Steinbeck - The Grapes of Wrath
I'll probably only read three or four of them though
Gender: Unspecified Location: Your mom's basement.
The Lost Symbol- Dan Brown
Angels & Demons- Dan Brown[for the second time]
The Da Vinci Code- Dan Brown[2nd time]
Chronicles of Narnia- C.S. Lewis[the complete works in one book ]
The Max Ride Series- James Patterson[for the 3rd time]
and maybe some others i buy from the library or get for christmas or at Barnes & Noble[can anyone say 2, count them 2 $25 gift cards???]
I've just put all the books I've got to read in piles, got three piles all about 30+ books high up against a piece of furniture. Keep buying more than I read...
I don't anywhere to put my 'enjoyable' books thanks to my huge medical ones.these books are so huge in size and so many in number that I don't have any space left for novels so I just look them up in the library, read and return. But I'll definitely buy Harry Potter's 7th part. Addin that to the list too.
