And you must not have seen Guyver: Dark Hero. The final battle is amazing. What's cool about it is that Sean (the Guyver) is fighting a Zoanoid with his own Guyver unit.
The Guyver unit grants superhuman power to its user. Zoanoids are already superhuman. So Sean is fighting a much stronger opponent (Zoanoid strength + Guyver power) and still manages to hold his own.
The first one was silly in some parts, true. The second film ROCKED!
Anyway, Guyver deserves respect. He's an amazing fighter, has cool arm-blades and a head-mounted laser. Plus his finishing attack (called the Mega Smasher in the anime) is really cool.
I've seen both films, along with several versions of the Anime; the live action films where severely lacking.
Guyver fighting that giant dragon-looking thing was retarded.
I liked the first film more, if I had to pick.
Like I said, a live action movie remake would be good. If they can make Ironman look great on film, they can do the same for The Guyver. Just need a decent writer, director, actor(s) and a shit load of $$$.
