I need someone to help me out here, cause im lost. Is Elemental Firestorm the future version like KC Flash or in the 1,000,000 storyline?

no.

the role of elemental firestorm was assumed by professor stein when he discovered that it had been his destiny, not ronnie's, to inherit the mantle of the 'true' fire elemental. after defeating brimstone, elemental firestorm traveled to the other end of the universe to... explore. when elemental firestorm/stein finally returned back to earth, he demonstrated a more 'cosmic' perspective - ie. he claimed to know the secrets of the universe, he had almost fully mastered the intricacies of his power [the matrix] etc. he also owned the likes of captain atom [among several others] with an extreme degree of ease. finally, he left earth yet again - but before doing so, he cured the leukemia ronnie was battling at the time.

stein/elemental firestorm would later return and merge with jason rusch during "IC". this merger drastically boosted the overall power of firestorm [enabling him to muck with organics] and also fully unlocked the matrix to jason.

in a nutshell: while elemental firestorm may be more powerful than 'regular' firestorm, they are both part of the same whole.
