it should be noted that the spear of destiny is *technically* capable of doing all of these things to spectre.
other than that, an extremely high output of energy is sufficient to KO spectre for an [albeit short] period of time. this was demonstrated when he and AM unleashed a creation destroying/recreating blast during COIE. spectre did in fact survive said blast, but it rendered him comatose for the duration of the crisis.

Agreed, It could have something to do with The Source as well as that was right after it made everything and The Spectre seemed to have merged with it and save all creation. Could also have something to do with the part where (in the Bible) it says The Lord rested 6 days, could be DC was using The Spectre in that case, although that is never stated anywhere just using my imagination.
i agree. just saying that *at most* a creation shattering blast did little more than put spectre to sleep for a short while. that is an uber feat in itself.
