It was very close. Wasn't so much a shortcoming on your prep, but that Leo/Galan had a prep plan which was near perfect for the circumstances, imo. Just about every Leo match I've judged has been one sided in his team's favor. I had to write a checklist while voting tonight just to sort through points and counter points.

If you and KK team up for another tourny you'll be a force.

I should have focused on illustrating a less counterable offensive plan... it seems like every match i've ever been in, i've been criticized for spending too much time illustrating ways to resist my opponents, but little for overcoming them.

yeah, that was something we tried highlighting. taking down smurph in the semi is a major kudos for you guys and this match was obviously extremely close. each time out you guys get a little better . . .

and a thanks again to bats for going solo and a huge thanks to the judges who actually got their votes in faster than i've ever seen!

anyway, i'm alrealy bored. when 's the next tournament start . . .? big grin

Seriously though, great match. Coming down to the wire is always a good thing, especially for tourney finals. It signifies that we had the right teams in the last match.
