Alex (my BF) says nothing like that was shown on panel AFAHR, though probably presumed since its protocols during the Blackest Night seemed no different from regulars...
And given Kyle knows the theory of ring duplication...well, he's no longer discriminated in that department.
it might have been kyle's ring after hal died, being the only one of its kind left.
he does? i don't recall him being around when the rings duplicated.

He has done rings duplication with Hal's ring when it was lended to him... that feat (out of context) was posted in old Kyle's RT. So the problem before was in rings' protocols and the very Leader's ring thing, it seems...

Just as I known...pre Sinestro Corps Wars.
In Blackest Night the ring is operating under standart GLC protocols. Also, didn't Kyle change his ring (upgraded it) after recreating the corps (reserve power supply and stuff)?

he might have, but during the war against the sinestro corps he was given a new ring by ganthet. there was no mention of it being anything more than a standard gl ring.

The thing is Kyle does have a leaders ring. Technically Kyle ring, is Hal’s only rebuilt with less imperfections.
I smell a contradiction.

all well and good, but i'll be surprised if bats and kahn end up allowing ring duping.

1. Leader's ring is the one that can duplicate (shown by Sinestro and other Corps' big dogs).
2. Technically Kyle is higher ranked GL than Hal...so "no replication" was stated before as a plot device when there were no GL Corps to ensure there's no other GLs than Kyle.

The very thing is iffy, darling. Also, I don't know how useful spare rings are with no power batteries allowed. Most likely not very useful. You're just sharing set power of one ring with no way to recharge the reserves...

For all of those using Lanterns in the tournament, we have an announcement. Power Ring duplication and distribution is legal (I imagine most of you were planning on doing that anyway). The burden is still on you to prove that your non-Lantern character can actually use the rings, however.
I know this might bring up the question of certain characters exceeding the Herald limit. But given the challenge of proving that other characters can use the ring and the other ways I'm sure some of you are planning to mesh each of your team's powers, were going to give people some wiggle room here.

Well I suppose it does not matter, if Kyle wants to duplicate his ring. It’s probably within reason, given that he can create independent acting constructs with their own rings.

Green Lantern Ring's is an obvious standard item. What about a Green Lanterns Power Battery, can a GL accesses it?

No, but any Lantern used will start each fight with a 100% charge.
With battery-less ring the duplication seems like a moot point. The power of ring has to come from somewhere.
Duplicating rings without battery is just charing the power of one ring (finite) between many rings, and not adding any extra powers.

the ring itself.
1 ring = 100%
2 rings = 50% each.
or no?

Yes. You're not adding any extra powers, just charing the power concentrated in one ring between some number. So if you create gazillion rings, they're still as powerful collectively as starting one on its own.
Multiple rings, thus, provide cool visual but not much else. No definite strategical advantage IMO.
