Scenario One- Battle takes place on dry land

Scenario Two- Battle takes place in a shallow (but very wide) lake.

IIRC he can use his powers to manipulate the parts of the human brain that we share with our distant aquatic ancestors.

Honestly he should have a decent chance in the 2nd on a physical level. She hulk was shown in civil war to be < abomination.
Aquaman can hang with Diana physically, with double strength & durability he should be able to compete on she hulk's level.
