Thanks, but Gardner Fox Ultraman wasn't written quite that way, Delta.
He and SilverBlue were written as so equal to each other that Superman needed to find UN-conventional means of fighting to take him down, not just brawling violence.
Here, take a look -- I alluded to this scene far earlier in the thread

Ultraman saves himself with Volthoom, the ultimate safe word, same as the rest of the CSA (Crime Syndicate of America).
The word triggers a dimensional shift that defeats each JLA member, same as you saw Superman passing out before from Luthor's Tungsten Tube experiment, but you can clearly see Ultraman going down to his knees from Flash's attack, soon to be out without that plot-saving device.
Can't honestly see Superman easily handling a man that can do THAT on the spur-of-the-moment to his closest-matching rival, save to move a story forward.

URLbase for the link directory of this thread.
Inspired by the song, and easy to remember because of that.
This post is made with "Automatically parse URLs" feature OFF,
so they SHOULD survive the archive transformation that KMC threads
seem to undergo if left alone awhile.
Hmm.
Earlier, in my pre-Crisis Supergirl thread, P.R. suggested me how to make words into links.
Now if I can only remember how P.R. helped me create a simple hypertext word link with these things ... it's been nearly 3 years since I remember him doing that, though...
In the meantime, still with "Automatically parse URLs" OFF,
I'll include this URL, which links to my precry Supergirl thread, and Linda fighting Master Jailer for the first time ...
IF she's expecting trouble.
Diana has Super Speed, too. Even in the Silver Age.
And she's fought Superman and Supergirl and other pre-Crisis Kryptonians either to a draw or win.
She's also given a reasonable account of herself against people with power specs similar to Kryptonians. (i.e. Martian Manhunter)
Bet you can, too.
Bet you'll also find she's expecting the challenge and BRACED for it, though.
Inconsistent all-over-the-board durability.
Generally low for the times it DID stay consistent.
It was like that in the Golden Age, as I've shown you numerous times.
It didn't improve all that much for the 60s.
If at all.
Overcoming Diana's strength was generally something noteworthy.
Her "invulnerability"?
Not so much.
And the attack by Superman is essentially a sneak attack.
None of the JLA, or even the criminals they are fighting, expect Superman to suddenly attack the members of the team as he does.
Note Wonder Woman's use of controlled superspeed to create vibration warmth and melt the ice encasing her, just like Flash.

She was already engaged, and she was getting ready to attack, come on Blue. This is getting kind of silly tbh.
She was already engaged and she knew she was in a fight she should be prepared, specially since she is an AMAZON WARRIOR!!!
Nah! She sees Superman coming a mile away, so no surprise there and they got hit hard, that is why she got KO'ed. Flash confirms this on a later panel, but then again I know she does not has a great record on the invulnerability department, but somehow when she is fighting Superman it seems she can take a lot of punishment.
You did not answer if You think Diana is stronger than PC Superman?
Gender: Male Location: The Fortress of Solitude in Venus
Not really, you don't.
Originally the OP asked about how many times they have faced each other.
Getting into a who is stronger debate, was not what the OP asked.
I think this who is stronger debate should be done in a Battlezone with judges, so You can finally make a case that goes directly from point A to point B
Like I said before
Assumptions vs Justified Conclusions
This thread is getting old and tbh I even said, I will step aside so you can make a case, but I saw nothing.
If you said WW is stronger from 2003 to 2011 why you need to justify your position with Golden and Silver age scans? Why You need to justify your position with statements made over 50 years ago?
If I'm going to say Post Crisis Superman from 2003 to 2011 is stronger why will I use PRE-CRISIS feats? Why do I need pre-crisis statements?
Are you trying to tell me that a feat of 1956 is can be used to justify your conclusion of Wonder Woman being stronger from 2003 to 2011?
This is what I don't really get, so I think a battlezone should be better, instead of keep hearing this hypothesis.

And tbh
You are the one who is claiming WW is stronger than Superman from 2003 to 2011.
So you are the one who has to provide the evidence.
Evidence from 2003 to 2011 IN CONTEXT
1962 has nothing to do with 2003 unless there is a retcon AND If this is retcon is relevant to this discussion.
The only way you should bring a 1962 scan, is to answer the OP question.
Otherwise this really seems as trying to divert attention or an attempt to condition the audience to believe your claims with a constant bombardment of propaganda in which WW seems good and Superman bad and so far many scans I have seen from you make Superman look bad.
Is really easy to discredit someone showing only their bad showings vs someones good showings only, which is what so far I have seen here.
