I'm surprised by his quitting, on some reflection.
And disappointed.
I hope he comes back.
He gave us such joy...and whilst we moaned about this and that as fans, the love for his work is what drives us to play the DVDS, Tapes, Blu-rays again and again thankful that someone brightened our lives with his vision.

I mean, thats what we've said all along really. It never mattered about CG or Midichloreans to us.. none of that will ever compare to the pleasure of watching the OT.
And if im honest I do enjoy much of the prequels.
It just suffered by contrast to OT. But the prequels still beat this piss out of most of everything else out there.

I hope he does do something like come back and collaborate with Darabont or Kazdan in writing or someone and get in a guest director capable of ESB like greatness and bobs your uncle.
