I should've elaborated if Jason is chained under Crystal Lake he goes unconscious. Though he has been electricuted and Telepathically released from the chains before.
lol. That's just such an alien concept to me... Maybe it's a sign of my increasing age, I dunno.
I remember watching those films all the time on Friday the 13th's and Saturday UP all night on USA with Ronda Cher (sp?). It's shocking to me that one could avoid them into adulthood.
Lol, yeah they're the same type of killer but both Myers and Vorees were pioneers in the teenager massacring industry and both have a style all their own ha!
At least you're getting yourself cultured on the matter. good for you

Thats what I thought but watching Jason kill them off I realised he's kind of imaginative, creative even. He uses whatever comes to hand, but, I'm sure Myers is the same in that respect.
The thing is I tend to read more horror than watch it, because books can get inside the victims' mind and you get a bit more of the fear from the character.
Myers.... Actually he typically only uses his knife and brute strength. I think there's only a handful of times he's changed that up to my memory.
Yeah, books are for more cerebral, slasher movies don't even make you really care for the characters most of the time. They're typically just walking corpses waiting to happen, cannon fodder for the next imaginative kill lol.

It was a joke paying homage to the ridiculous ending of Jason Goes to Hell.. which was a nod to the possibility of Jason vs. Freddy at the time.

FVJ wasn't a stalemate. You have to be blind to think it was. Freddy beat the shit out of Jason, point blank. Freddy pretty much dominated the fight. Yeah, Jason got some major hits in, but go back & look at the fight & pay attention....Freddy dominated it.
Freddy had to use plot devices OUT THE ASS to even stay competitive with Jason, hell, even when he managed to cut Jason's fingers off it was literally blind luck allowing him to do so. Even then, Jason was coming back before that fight came to a close as they got blown off the dock. It WAS a stalemate, to argue otherwise is.... annoyingly misrepresentative.

I liked it for what it was. I'm just begging for a so called "true Freddy fan" to explain what they think Freddy's power is because it seems that from some comments I read in other forums, they simply don't seem to understand what it is.
I hate to say it, but I think Jason won. Freddy did come out alive but just his head. Jason came out head body and all. Freddy's body is in the lake, and Freddy's in the real world, so he's literally powerless.
I decided to watch the ending of Jason Goes to Hell: the Final Friday, after I heard of what happened in the end, Freddy's hand raising from underground, we hear Freddy wickedly laughing after he uses his glove to grab Jason's mask. Since then I have looked forward to Freddy vs. Jason for quite a while, the production unfortunately took a quick time to be released. After I saw Freddy vs. Jason, I was both disappointed and entertained, I do own a copy of it on DVD, after all, but it could have been much better, and probably should have been too, but still an entertaining little flick if you love horror crossovers.
Not a joke, in one of the earlier scripts, Freddy and Jason were both going to die and end up in Hell again. They would see Pinhead there, and he says, "What's the matter, boys?" Probably, for the best and the worst, that script did not take place. I wonder what it would have been if it did, and as far as Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash goes, I never read any of the comics, are they good?
I actually have the issues they're pretty good um yeah check it out yeah but don't ask for the nightmare warriors just ask for feddy vs jason vs ash #1
