So, just watched the latest ep of Legacy. Was pretty cool, especially watching the fight scene between Cyrax, Smoke & Hydro. I'm really glad they went with the MK9 designs for Cyrax and Smoke, instead of the older ones. MK9's designs looked really awesome in Legacy. And yeah, those claws of Cyrax's looked much better than his Buzzsaw.
Also, on the topic of Hydro, I wonder why the Grandmaster decided to sacrifice him. He clearly was better than Cyrax and Sektor one on one, and was able to handle both together for a bit.

Gender: Male Location: In Luna's mane, chasing STAAARS!
Two words: Avada Kedavra.
That and it's kind of hard picturing the guy being in a H2H fighting game when he uses nothing but a wand. Unless there's actually a spell that can apparate a magical fist in close quarters kombat, I don't think that guy would last long in any round unless of course somebody was vulnerable to spam attacks but that wouldn't be fair.
I know but they could integrate him in the game just fine. They added another glove onto Freddy's other hand for crying out loud. Love to see him going rounds with mk's elite sorcerers such as Quan Chi and Shang Tsung.
Yeah, I wish those claws had kind of replaced Cyrax's buzzsaw special in the game if anything, as I don't like how much it leaves him wide open when it's blocked or avoided. And good point about Hydro, though to my knowledge, he was just a Subzero lookalike from some of the MK comic books (forgot if it was in the ones by malibu or the canon ones, but meh). You'd think we would've seen him do an ice attack similar to Subzero like he did Goro in the comics, but he was pretty awesome as a cyborg regardless.

You want to reply to Ridley Prime's PMs, or at least comment on his videos he did partly for you.
You do not want to keep making up some excuse related to being lazy or something of that nature forever.
Yeah. Maybe in MK10, we'll have claws for Cyrax.
Also, I dunno why, but I got an Iron-man vibe when seeing this episode, particularly when the mask was being placed over their faces, and Cyrax looking at the camera at the end. Awesome though.
Yeah, but I think he was more akin to Rain in that he controlled Water, albeit, he could still freeze people. Still, Cyborg Hydro used Electricity, so maybe he really was Rain.
Haha. Pity for you, today I replied to your PM's before reading this thread.

I kinda hope so, but yeah. The Iron-man type of vibe is definitely a big part of what makes that episode great.
Heh, maybe. A half Rain, half Subzero type of cyborg? Awesome! The Lin Kuei must have been fools to sacrifice that.
Doh! So I did the Jedi mind trick for nothing. Funny timing that was.
A retro version of Cyber Subzero? Didn't see that coming. Regardless, they come free with Freddy next week.
I suppose hoping for more classic costumes than that of just another ninja or cyborg for the 4th compatibility pack was a bit much to hope for. It can always remain a possibility though, especially if they end up releasing more DLC characters in the future as a result of huge demand.
You talking about Kahn on the story mode or arcade ladder? Regardless, just block his green spears and jump over his hammer toss, or if you're Raiden or someone like him, teleport behind Kahn and x-ray or do an enhanced special as he throws his hammer. Making it an initiative to jump over Kahn before attacking with a combo or somethin' usually helps too, as he'll attempt to do one of his two shadow-like moves as you jump, more often than not. If he jumps in the air with his hammer, move back immediately, as that's when he'll try to do his x-ray. You can't jump over him when he's doing that, so don't even try. Overall, he can become as easy as any other opponent once you learn his attack patterns...
eh, i don't care that much to even learn his pattern. it's a game for fighting other people. Not a game to play ladder... but he's still annoying as heck.
Maining Sub-Zero, with a secondary of Cyber Sub-Zero.
Never said it was a game just to play ladder or against AI, although there is the challenge tower too, which you fight Kahn on plenty occasions in and unlock plenty of acheevos and stuff as you progress through it.
Ah, well then I guess you'll prolly like the freebie costume skins that come when Freddy Krueger is released next week.
