Your warnings and concerns fall upon def ears. All you can do now is let the chips fall where they may. It's funny too, we were actually discussing the eventual MVC3 upgrade the day MVC3 came out. When you produce so many of the same games in such a short time that it becomes a predictable pattern, no good will come of it down the long haul.
It's a shame Capcom will soon tumble from the throne before the unfortunate masses can experience the greatness beyond Street Fighter and Capcom VS series. It becomes increasingly disturbing when you know that the mordern day mechanics that everyone loves, comes from the games that aren't getting to see the light of day. Every gameplay feature and mechanic in SF and CapVS that can't be traced back to SFII, came from the Darkstalkers and Rival Schools series.
True shame no one besides the chosen few will ever know this, from first hand, rather than word of mouth.

No? I actually played Darkstalkers and Rival Schools. Just because I don't whine and complain about these games not seeing any sequels doesn't mean I didn't play and enjoy them. You are just too stubborn to admit it is silly to call the game terrible without having even played it.
It is stupid and a terrible idea, I agree. I was against this game being released. I didn't want another vs. and I certainly didn't want it to be with Tekken(of all games and franchises out there) I am just not being an irrational fanboy. That is the difference between you and me.
Capcom has been doing this shit all this time, even beyond the SF franchise. They like to milk the shit out of any franchise giving them money. It is a shame they do not realize or, more likely, do not give a shit about the the danger this oversaturation of fighters represents. You'd think they'd feel the Deja Vu, but nah. Not Capcom. Not until they start feeling it in their pockets.

At least back then, every franchise was drained. We had 5 different Rival Schools games, only 2 were actually new. We had 5 Darkstalkers, only 2 were new. Hell, we had 3 Jojo's, 1 was the actual game, the other 2 were just upgrades. If you can't understand the diference from then and now, then mail some unfortunate fellow your eyes and brain, cuz clearly you don't need'em.

He's just popular in name. probably cause he's been in every tekken and soul calibur game that's ever been out. He's also the oddest fighter outta both series but he's not a popular pick.
bottom line, yoshi's spot should've been replaced by a more formidable tekken fighter.

C;mone Yoshi is cool. Nothing beats steling other characters moves and stabbing unarmed fighters with a sword.
Imo Nina doesnt relly need to be in the game, Namco is kinda trying to shove her down everyone's throat with death by degrees, cameos in the movie, trailers etc but I dont know a single person who actually likes her.. Lili on the other hand...

But a Byran or Feng or a Paul or a Jin or Heihachi instead of him would've been way cooler. And who matches up with him well or even teams up with him well? No one.
And Nina should be in there. I don't pick her but imo she's the best female Tekken fighter in the series, if not top 3. Lili's a beast but Nina'd beat her.

Pretty much agree on Bryan. He's gotta make it in. I got a feeling Paul is gonna end up in it too. But I don't mind yoshi being in. I could do without kuma tho.
