IIRC didn't someone in the manowar armor give Solar a hell of a go? I think X-O takes it. To me the MOWA is still the baddest ass armor in comicdom. Even after nearly 2 decades.
One thing I never got was if the pol-bek armor was superior to the Shanhara armor after Paul life force merged with it or was it always more advanced? Because it did give Solar hell before.
XO Manowar was one of my favorite comics back then.
Basically, he had maybe class 75 strength, ion guns, computer/technology takeover, a main chest weapon that was kinda like an omni beam of Iron Man's (it projected light and a magnetic field too, I think. It also has shielding (w/c isn't always up), cellular regeneration for the wearer as well as being able to make Ionic weapons that can basically cut thru anything.
The most effective ability for XO has to be it's ability to absorb nearly limitless amounts of energy. The Spider-Aliens actually created the armor from plantlife that absorbed limitless amount of energy, making the armor nearly invulnerable to any kind of energy attack. This is the sole reason that it gave Solar problems when he faced another XO armor worn by a Spider Alien warrior.
The armor has shown vulnerability to kinetic damage, tho.
Don't know much the Blue Beetle armor but if it has ways to beat the above abilities, then it wins.
What do you think of the ending, which revealed it was all a dream/prophecy vision?
It should retcon the entire series as an "Elseworld/What If", except for the fact XO also touched established continuity series like Solar, Immortal Warrior, and others...
But the last several fights up to the point his suit is infected are definitely questionable..
As for this match: When Jaime is pissed it enables him to tap more of teh Beetle powa -- so in that state I could see him winning. Other side of the coin, a calm Jaime is going to get slapped around like a b*tch. /shrug
