I am in agreement that he's a far greater challenge in many ways.
The Sword may work, but that is assuming the sword itself is not physical, and would not be deconstructed right away.

As for porting him to another dimension, Ed was able to cross dimensions with a few souls, given all of God-Father's power, it would probably be like walking out.

I don't think God-Father would be able to escape a void; so Kakashi's Kamui would be the best bet. If Danzo's jutsu strand him in limbo or is like Madara's warping justsu, then Father escaping through the gate would actually work. Then again I'm not sure if the gate is the asnwer for interdimentional escape.

The sword and Sussano would take time; not a lot of time obviously but enough for Father to turn Itachi into a stone. Without a distraction, at least four people would be made into stones off the bat.
