will I still be able to make keep my 3 characters Gaku, Musuko and Tatsuya? You and me Big O worked so hard on Tatsuyas Character sheet it would suck if hes gone plus he plays an important role in Gakus progress.
I won't be doing anything Canon in the story with Okazu Bushido or Teara my mains are Hitosu Pintar and The Twins

There will be three (3) threads for this, (possibly four); The RP Thread. The OOC Thread. The Character Thread.
*The RP Thread is just that. The Role Playing Thread. Nothing goes in there except in character posts. Please don't have anything in parentheses or make a post with smilies.
Also, please make a post that's at least a paragraph long (if possible.) 3-5 sentences should be enough to get an understandable and respond-able point across. Of course, if you absolutely cannot make a paragraph long post, don't add it. There should be no posts that simply states, "Caleb nodded his head in agreement." What's the point of that? And it took up space. This instruction alone is 7 sentences long.
I also ask that everyone plan out a post before posting if it concerns more than just your character(s) and is significant to the RP instead of just your character(s), ie., fights, arguments, activities. This is so that everyone involved is on the same page. Simply send your fellow RPer a pm stating how you plan to respond to their post and, in turn, how they plan to respond to you, like a give and take. If the characters are involved in simple conversation, then post as you usually would. I know it seems like a lot of work, but I can guarantee that this will keep the Thread less congested with posts that might overlook some info of someone's response.
With this being said, you should probably wait for someone to respond to you before making another post if your character isn't the only one involved in a post. You don't have to and shouldn't be concerned with making your character being present in every situation. That WILL NOT happen. There is to be absolutely NO meta-gaming. PERIOD.
If someone disappears while involved with someone else's character, I will take control of their character to free up the other(s). However, this will probably take at least a day to give the MIA RPer a chance to reply. So you kinda have to be patient.
*The OOC Thread is for conversing with each other out side of the RP. You can discuss things about the RP or just catch up with each other. It's as simple as that.
*The Character Thread will be used for posting your approved characters. Simply post your Character Sheet and I will give you the okay. However, your character MUST be discussed with me through pm before you post them in the Character Thread.
Once I give you the 'go-ahead' via pm, you can post the in the Character Thread. If you have more than one character, please try your best to have them all in one post so we can keep the thread clean and neat.
The Character Thread is there to discuss characters ONLY. There should be no talk of anything else besides the characters. anything else can go in the OOC Thread.
This covers the new threads.

I'm sorry, but your rule on PMing each other over planning posts is an extension of meta-gaming, just not in the most traditional sense. Two people could theoretically determine the winner of a fight or argument long before people start posting, making said conflict a waste of time. Furthermore, KMC's messaging services stops at 1 on 1 conversations. If we were trying to plan posts based on something huge, like a team fight or something, we'd be sending everyone so many different PMs that we'd lose track.
I'm not saying we shouldn't go through with it, but I do recommend that a) - we find a way of talking to many people simultaneously, and b) - we limit this so that we don't end up on the railroad tracks, if you know what I mean.

We know Starry, Xan, and I can get on it. Mel, Reg, and Big are the only ones who I can't remember ever being on a xat. But I remember Hitosu on it, I think I saw Mel on one too. Anyways, I agree with the Xat plan.
I know that I don't have the best history because of this, but I agree with Mel's comment on the planning. Maybe planning toward the end of a confrontation "If x kills y" but planning out a fight isn't good. It makes for little to no excitement. No inspiration to actually make a good fight when you know who's going to win.
You guys could be right about that. I didn't think about it that way. Besides the chat site (is that what it's called ) what are some other ways we could limit the confusion of what I'm just gonna refer to as an event?

As we all may know, the 3 previous Hero Highs- Hero High, Hero High 2: The Mystery, and Hero High 3: A New World- didn't follow a story too much save for the Isaac Incident in HH2.
This one will. Before I get into that, I'll inform everyone of a few changes:
I've spent a while trying to come up with a name for the new RP. I was thinking of other titles that could be tagged on after Hero High like the last two. I came up with some good ones and some that made me wanna smack myself.
To cut to the chase, the RP will no longer be titled Hero High. Considering the new direction that the RP will be taking, I found it pointless in continuing naming it Hero High anything. The new RP will be titled Aftermath.
Aftermath will be a lot more darker and mature than the previous Hero Highs. A lot of the story will deal with the choices and the results of those choices our characters made and make.
The premise of this one is as follows:
The Academy of Higher Learning (formerly known as Hero High) was successful in it's mission of training various supers in the use of their abilities. With all of the government aid, the school year went off with only minor blips. The Heroes were able to do what they were mandated to do in protecting the students (children and adults) and the school, itself, against any possible threats for a full year. Mainly because there were none.
The school year was pretty boring. There were a few mission that Strike Force carried but nothing big. Julian informed the Heroes of a few people who might be a problem for them and the Heroes investigated. Finding nothing, they left it alone as they didn't want to be the cause of something. Especially Ben and Katt, who had recently welcomed their baby girl Alana Jordan into the world after a brief pregnancy by Katt do to magical and feline factors.
During the day of graduation for some of the students (which were held in the large auditorium of the school), there were hundreds of people present: students and staff (obviously,) the Heroes, Strike Force, Julian and representatives from some of the various governments involved with the school, as well as the families of many of the supers graduating.
The ceremony was short and sweet. Ben said a few words along with Julian and some speakers from the assembled governments and a few other people. The presenting of certificates began and then all hell broke loose.
Several explosions rang out all over the auditorium. Just as the Heroes were hopping in to action, another explosion erupted from under the stage. There were other explosions going on all over the rest of the school as well.....
-Skip ahead 3 months-
The explosions utterly destroyed the school and killed hundreds. The Heroes and Strike Force were no exception to the loss of some of their members. The fallout from all of the destruction was excruciating. Not only did the group of governments cancel their support of the school, they also held the Heroes responsible for the deaths of student from all of the respective governments.
Saying that with all of the technologies, psionics and magicks at the Heroes disposal, this should not have happened. This, in turn, cause the surviving Heroes and Strike Force members to be come outcasts. And not only from the governments but also from the super community, as well. The explosions and resulting deaths had been made known worldwide and this caused supers as a whole to be more publicly revealed than they ever were.
They were completely banned from ever opening any more schools, teaching any one, and they were also banned from using their powers in public lest they be seen as breaking the law and arrested right on the spot. In the end, what was left of the teams were disbanded.
As if to add insult to injury, supers were winding up dead. When the now disbanded members of the Heroes tried to work to remedy this, they were all arrested. They were guilty of nothing seeing as they did nothing but speak to each other. However, the registration of supers was made mandatory after this and it was now illegal to have unregistered super powers.
The killings continued and almost nothing was done about it. That is, until a group of supers, calling themselves The Crusaders, rose up. They were nothing like the previous ones. They cared nothing for the law and did what they had to do to save fellow supers. They also had no problem using lethal force against anyone who threatened them or stood in their way. They set up an underground for supers and many are being saved by them. They also extended an invitation to anyone who wanted to help them in their crusade.
Whoever is killing supers is unknown. The former Heroes are still trying to figure out what happened at the school. Will anyone join The Crusaders? That's all up to you.
What do you guys think? Don't be afraid to voice your opinions.

I like it, sounds less rigid in terms of what you can do.
Is there a faction besides the Crusaders or would you be on your own? I mean, say a character has a problem with the Crusaders killing people, whether out of naivety or a code, and refused to join. Are they then left to fend for themselves, or are they considered "standing in the way"?
And just to be 100% clear, if we had a student character before, they are Heroes now? Or, would have been had the attacks not taken place.
Eh...it reeks of Civil War, which kinda turns me off..but it should be interesting to see how certain characters try to interact with the discrimination. Scenario's questions hilight the main concerns I have at this point, so an answer there will satisfy me.

Scen pretty much hit the nail square on. It seems unlikely that the crusaders would be the only resistance group out there. If the super hero crackdown was worldwide, then there would realistically be hundreds of groups popping up everywhere. The crusaders would simply be known as being the most ruthless.
