Rock's memories practically begged t be seen so Janet opened her min and let them flow into her. She saw that a**hole Donny beating the tar out of Rock; the doctors injecting drugs into her; her giving in to here hallucinations to ease her pain and; finally getting released from the mental institution. Janet had to admit that this girl had it rough. That much was obvious. But there was something else screaming to he heard.
Janet had to delve deeper into Rock's mind to see what it was. It was as if she was trying to reject her but that couldn't be the case if she opened her mind up to her like this. She saw images that were blurry and dark. She got the sense that Rock didn't want to see these pictures. As she was trying to get closer to them, they retreated from her. A door then appeared in front of Janet and slammed shut. A distinct locking sound could be heard.
Janet knew from experience that this was the minds way of keeping someone out and keeping painful memories repressed. Let me in, Rock, she said to her mentally. Believe it or not, but I'm trying to help you. Don't run again. You need to give me total access to your mind.

'Now you want to help me.. Now that I have my powers, a father and my boyfriend back...." she says out loud, hesitant to let anyone help her at the moment. Only Lucian, Lance or maybe Aaron could convince her to let her have full access, and only Lucian could do it with one touch and a sentence.
Janet sighed a Rock's unmitigated insolence. If she were a different person, she would have just mind raped Rock an not think twice about it. Just do as I ask, Rock. Why do you always have to be so... She stopped her train of thought and just waited on the girl. It was ultimately Rock's choice if she wanted the help offered. Janet knew that the girl knew it wuldnt be offered again.

Rock glances to Lucian and her harsh distrusting look fades she touches his hand gently and opens her mind letting Janet have full access, fort he first time ever she is letting someone fully into her mind
"Can your magic phone call wait?" Leon asked. "We're here." The jet hovered down until it was just above the.building. "Get in and find her." He commanded.
"Look I don't where the Doctor went so you have no need with me," Zero said stuggling to keep a grib on her right sword, she didn't notice she took damage from the teleporters blade until now. The feline girl backed up slowly and sheathed her katana then with a last look at the duck she turned and ran full speed out of the building. Zero could hear the roar of the jet above her and looked up and saw it was one from the school, they could only be here to pick her up.
Suddenly, everything expanded in Rock's mind. Janet saw things she never expected to see. Felt things she never thought Rock would or could feel. She had to admit to herself that she was more than a little overwhelmed. When the door opened for her, Janet was surprised to see a small pile of pictures, all in black and white. She could feel every emotion a human could experience emanating from the pile.
As she looked on, the pictures started to float up and become suspended in the air, seemingly in no particular order. After the last one got into place, all was silent for an indescribable amount of time. Janet glanced around and that was when the images on the pictures started to move.
There was a picture that showed a rather young looking Rock standing in front of a modest looking, suburban house. The images started with a grungy looking Rock forcing her way into he home. It then skipped to a confrontation with the apparent owner of the home holding a golf club. Skipping again, Janet was able to see the golf club protruding from the man's chest and a woman laying next to him with what appeared to be a knife handle sticking out from her back. A final scene showed a wild-eyed Rock standing face to face with a small child who had pleading eyes.
Janet tore her mental eyes from the picture and another caught her attention. In this one, Rock was scene laying on a bench in what looked to be a large park. She was seen shivering as leaves blew pass her. Another showed the girl running away from some type of food store with a loaf of bread hugged tightly against her chest.
When those images stopped moving, Janet eyes were drawn to a picture of a more recent Rock. This one looked like the room she was staying in after she tried to bring down the school. She saw Ben speaking to her and Rock leaning on the wall with an angry yet empty look in her eyes. The picture then jumped to Rock talking to herself and simply went still. Janet didn't understand that but had no time to figure it out as another picture began.
Janet was surprise to see this one. Rock was sitting under a tree with Lucian's head resting on her legs. They both were laughing. Janet was surprised even further when she realized that she could hear clearly. The picture skipped to Rock playing her guitar for the boy and him nodding his head to the simple tune. Another skip saw Rock and Lucian being intimate with each other. Feeling embarrassed, Janet let out a mental sigh of relief when the image stopped and another picture took its place.
This one saw Rock in the training center taking part in an exercise with the first team of Strike Force: Liam, Naomi, Francois, Leon and Lucian. It then skipped to the team hanging out together in some sort of park. Finally, it skipped to the mission in Russia when they saved Lucian.
Another picture was a montage of meeting Lance for the first time when she was trying to steal a guitar; him taking her to the school; chastising her for her pranks and; him taking responsibility for her. Those memories lasted longer than Janet hoped and welcomed a new picture.
Rock was in a padded white room, strapped to a bed. She seemed to be sleep but her eyes were wide open. Simon and Andrew were talking near the door with a doctor but DJ was sitting next to her with a sad look on his face. It skipped to a scene with Ben, Katt, Sam and again DJ visiting her. Rock then started thrashing about and two orderlies raced in. One held her still as the other gave her a shot. Rock soon calmed down but DJ's head fell and Sam wiped her eyes. Katt leaned into Ben's arm and Janet could see him talking but couldn't make out what he was saying. It sounded like his voice was coming from under water.
Another picture showed Rock again speaking to herself, this time in a room with other people who Janet realized were mental patients. The picture skipped back to the padded room Rock was kept in with the bed now gone. It showed Rock tossing herself all over the room in a straight jacket. She was banging her head against the padded floor; slamming her shoulders forcefully against the walls; and then simply laying on the floor crying.
Janet was getting nauseous watching this memory and was grateful when the images stopped. Another picture showed Rock fighting against four orderlies. She took three down but the fourth managed to give her a shot. She almost immediately fell asleep.
A new picture started with Rock being taken out of the mental institution by Donny. It then skipped to him driving her to some immaculate looking house. Then it skipped to Donny walking towards Rock with a horrifyingly calm smile. Then the picture skipped to the unthinkable. Donny forcing himself on Rock and then beating her senseless and finally releasing her from the home.
Another picture of Rock on the streets with a guitar tried to show itself to Janet but she broke the connection with Rock- knowing full well that the memories were now accessible to the girl, as well- and simply stared at her as she sat on the bed in the arms of the one she truly loved. At that moment, Janet could understand Rock. She could understand why the girl latched on to Lance and Lucian so fiercely and would do anything to keep them near her. Why she was so hostile to other people. So closed off emotionally.
"Rock," the astral Janet said with such a foreign compassion that it shocked even herself. "I don't know what to say." Janet really was speechless. No words would come when she opened her mouth to say something. Her flames vanished and her eyes returned to normal as she floated to the ground.

lucian frowned some " that is what happenes when people assume things about people" he stated shaking head abit disappointed in her sudden change of attitude now that she gave rock a chance

Merc with a Mouth, the Crimson Nutcase
Leon opened the back hatch and opened a safety compartment nearby, which had a winch for occasions just like this. He unwound it part way and threw it down to Zero. "Grab hold!" he shouted, his voice barely heard over the jet engines. He waved his arms for unnecessary emphasis, feeling a sharp sting on his right arm when he did so. The metallic snake thing wrapped around it was too tight. He would have to deal with it later though. The mission always came first
Zero grabbed the cord and held on well it was pulled up, when she got up to the jet she took a look at her wound on her upper right arm it wasn't that bad but it would have to be stretched up.
Sam rushed over to Zero ready to heal her friend but when she went to heal her Zero shrugged her away, "Don't heal me, I don't deserve it," she said in a low voice her emotions hard to read. Instead the hybrid grabbed the first aid kit and sat on the ground and tend to her wounds, mostly the one on her arm. After all this time of looking and digging she finally found that bastard doctor but was not able to finish him, she was disgusted with herself.
Sam gave a sigh and said, "Are you sure your bleeding pretty bad and going to need stitches, if I heal you you can just skip all that." Sam leaned forward to heal Zero but the hybrid yelled, "I said don't!" Sam jumped back and noticed the look in Zero's eyes, they were like before, angry and alone.
"Let it go, Sam. She can get examined back at school," Leon said, closing the hatch. The jet turned and sped away from the building. Leon turned and faced Zero directly. "Now, I'm supposed to yell at you. Say 'what were you thinking' and all that. But I'll leave that to people who are better at it than me. Instead, I'm going to ask a few questions, ok?"
"First, what the hell happened in there? I want all the details. Second, is this somehow related to the feral kidnappings?"
Vincent's voice could be heard from the front of the jet - "How do you know about the kidnappings?"
"I've known about them for a while, but the Hive had to take priority. Now that the Hive is history, we can focus on this."
Vincent muttered something about 'more than one Strikeforce team', but Leon ignored him. He wanted to hear Zero's answers.
Gaku looked as Zero his friend got on the jet with wounds all over her as she refused Sam's help. Gaku always liked to help people and this was his friend so he was going to help her no matter what she said. Gaku walked up to Zero and sat down next to her taking out a some things to help her clean her wounds. He had learned from being with her that it doesn't take long till you find out she was pretty stubborn and he didn't mind that but a friend is a friend so he will do what he can to help her.
Zero held back her anger she knew that these questions she was going to have to answer soon. Zero ignored Gaku for the moment and began to tell Leon and the others what she knew, everything from the warehouse to the toy factory and about the clones. "I just don't know what the doctor wants with the ferals he collected, it seems like he changed his whole project form feral splicing to cloning," Zero said never taking her eyes off the floor.
Zero then got a look of terror, "what ever he was hidding there he destroyed with an explosion but there might be survivers, the kidnapped ferals!" she exclaimed making eye contact with Leon for the first time since she got on the jet.
_____
Mean while out of the city a black car heads out carrying a man in a white lab coat in the back seat. He's an older man with white hair and even though he is old he still looks fit and abled, he sits with laptop on his lap and a grim smile on his face. "you were the last piece to the puzzle and now your right where I want you," he says smiling looking that the screen, a looped video of Zero destroying the clones. The lap he destroyed would be completely empty not a trace of anything would be found.
Gaku listened not really knowing much about what was happening about a doctor and other things. It made him want to get to know Zero more as he dabbed her cuts with iodine to help with her wounds with his other hand he reached for bandages to wrap around her cuts. He was worried about Zero but he had a feeling she could take care of herself. It seemed like everyone knew Zero but he was just some new guy who not everyone knew existed, the most he felt he could do right now was help out as much as he could.
Zero was trying to scoot away from Gaku while he tried to give her first aid she didn't want to snap at Gaku too but she really didn't know what the dragon kid was thinking, she had just refused help from Sam, one of the best healers at the school, why on earth would she want his help. "Gaku really I'm fine," she said using her good arm as a barrier.
Gaku looked as Zero moved away from him he and say she was fine but he knew she was just saying that she was his friend and he was determined to help her out. Gaku then said to her sarcastically. "Yeah cause your not hurt nope .... These aren't wounds all over you. Now sit still I'm going to help you don't act all tough we are your friends and here to help shoot now hold still so i can put these bandages on your cuts."
Leon face-palmed himself. Why didn't he think of that? With a lurch, the jet turned around and sped back toward the lab, this time, even though Leon knew it was probably too late. How the hell could have have messed up like this? Wasn't he, as leader, supposed to be on top of everything? Hovering above the explosion, the group of young heroes watched the building crumble. "Computer, scan for signs of life - Feral class" Leon said, even though he knew the answer. Twenty seconds later, the computer beeped several times, and announced "No signs of Feral life, or any other form of life."
Leon heart sank. There was no way of knowing if there was any kidnapped ferals in the lab to begin with, but if there was, their lives were his burden. He had been so impressed with his own revival and improved powers that he had forgotten his responsibilities. He felt sick. "Take us back to school," he told the jet's computer in a dead sort of voice.
