Just part of it. The real anger came around the time of the Captain America Vs. Harry Potter thread, coupled with the DBZ hatred. That's when I got racial slur filled death threats and called Hitler. People lost their minds over being given more choices.

^Your comments make it seem like you think this forum is inherently fair or just.

It's not.

There's no rhyme or reason to anything, and it's not a democracy or anything of that sort.

A forum is more like a creation with a god, who can empower other gods to carry out his will. The lesser gods all how agendas of their own, but regardless of their popularity or whatever they can't actually cross the creator. And while all these gods rely on humans for worship (site traffic) to live or have any meaning/significance, they do not obey them. You say the cross-genre thing wasn't made with ill intent and I'm sure that's true, but it wouldn't work if Aphrodite just went down to earth and started handing out orgasms willy nilly. The other gods would surely react to this, regardless of her intent or if she had been given permission by the cretor.

Well, I wasn't around when this happened. But it sounds like you gave them more options and ultimately you paid the price for their inmaturity.

It wasn't a bad idea tbh, but then again, I wasn't here (hell, iirc I was still in elementary school) and don't know how the forum was back then. erm

I underestimated the immaturity of the forum's population. I thought people would be more rational (like me).
