OH YEAH, that's the news I like to hear. It'd be good fro Ganon to toss Link's sword off of the tower at the end of the first one, so Link should decide to use UNARMED COMBAT...OH YEAH!!! Then Ganon can be too much for Link's power; so in the second, Link could find a way to be stronger and finally defeat Ganon or something like that. I think that sounds pretty good. Until something else comes along, I'll settle with that.

That makes no sense. Only the Master sword can defeat Ganondorf. Thats why half of the game is spent searching for the master sword. The other half is making your way to the final battle.
Link and Ganon in thier final battle :

I think waht Levithian means is that Link can knock ganondorf out at the end of the first movie and then at the end of the second movie he will defeat ganon with the master sword.
Wasn't there a another sword in OOt that killed everything twice as fast including Ganon??

well.. you used the master sword to fight him in his sorcerer form
mirror shield/light arrows -> master sword kindof a combo. then when you fight him at the top of the castle (true form) he slaps the master sword out of your hand and creates a flame barrier so you cant get it. After you beat him up some the flame wall goes down, you nab the master sword and go for the kill.

The master sword is the sword you pull out of that stone in the temple of light right. (keep i n mind i only played OoT and MM) I don't recall ganon throwing of my Master sword. I never went for that other big sword. It was too much work. And i didnt use the mirror sword either. Or maybe you're talking about another game. I'm confused.

naw hehe I beat it a few times, you approach true form (Ogre looking demon gannon) and he slaps the master sword out of your hand. its supposed to build suspense, after you hit gannon a few times he covers his face with his hands or something and you gotta hit his tail? I think. After a few repetitions of that , the fire ring that surrounds where link and gannon do battle lowers down. Then zelda tells you to take the sword and deliver the final blow as you were meant to. Link runs up to gannon and stabs him right in the face with it. Then you gotta run like hell before the castle collapses hehe. I got everything (except like 3 heart containers *ocarina of time*), so I had no master sword issues O_o

hey, yeah. that big ol sword was something called the big goron sword. and actually, what I meant was that at the end of the first one, maybe Link should lose his crappy sword and fall in a lake that rivers into the lost woods (Link to the past was probably the only game where you had to go and search for the sword in the woods). So, Link can meet a guardian (I hope that one "S" dude, Shrahassala or something like that) that use to be a famous hero in the past.

OKIE DOKIE (reminds me of popcorn), I think that if all goes well, then maybe they could some kick ass action figures if they haven't already did that. Who knows, I actually haven't seen any. I'd like to think of Link as a character who can come in three different styles (in other words, he should come as GREEN, RED, and Blue) cause this isn't like Smash Bros Melee, Only Link should have the change of tunics. Also, I'd definately go and buy myself a cool Link Sleeping Bag and go back to the days of old school, and invite all my Homeboys over and play multiplayer duckhunt...hehehehe, that's cool.
Yet, that stupid owl (yeah, I don't like him; assuming that it's a guy) should not make any appearences, I only hate him cause I couldn't skip his stupid lectures and I had to go allllll the way through them word by word. So, I would definately want Shahashala (I don't remember that dude's name) as a guardian, I think that could actually make a movie sound more deep. Link could get lessons from him and they could tell how he was once a hero of the past. I think that sounds pretty good, yum yum. Eat it and don't forget to swallow...

That owl.... What's his name. I don't think hes hould be in a movie. I mena a talking owl. If it was an animal or beast that didn't exist it would be fine, but an owl talking come on it would look stupid.

that one pic looks pretty wicked, i liked the way that final fight played out. It was a return to the first legend of zelda, where ganon "dies" then comes back as this huge pig/bat/demon thing, and you had to use the same combo of light arrows, and master sword, and such. The battle in Ocarina of Time, is also simliar to the one in A link to the past ... there all linked in some way ... pun intended!

Well yeah, TLoZ is all about reincarnation and living that same path over and over again (thus the ending where zelda sends him back to his childhood at the end). Wind waker changes that which I really enjoyed because the hero of time doesnt come to save the world from darkness this time. Its all about a new person with courage and aspirations.

Well, yeah I do suppose that is true, but if I didn't know that someone wasn't link, then I'd never like to know who the other person was. Sure, those people that were Power Rangers aren't still the same old cast, but I like things that have a long string of imagination. I'd wouldn't like to see a Zelda movie without Link, atleast have a flashback rather than a statue, that was the only LINK appearance in Wind Waker. Yeah I thought that the game was fun, but if I had to pay 5.50 for a movie ticket then I hope that someone great comes along and puts up a great film as LINK. Whoever the director will be, I don't know, but I think that Tim Burton would do a lovely job doing things for the dark world. What about you people, do you think that Burton could do a good job designing a dark world???

zelda film
The idea of a film based off of my beloved Zelda series has been in my head for years. I've actually written a few scripts for it, just chunks of them, but they were bad. Ever since I began taking a video production class, the idea has become more serious for me. I've played all of the games and mastered them all and I'm pretty sure it could be done right, it'd have to be done perfectly. It shouldn't be based off of just a single game, it should have elements of all the games in it but the basis of the story. If you had to lean towards just one zelda game to base it off of, A Link to the Past would be the best choice. Look at The Lord of the Rings, a team of that size would be needed for a Zelda film. But if someone made the film and made it horrible, it was break my heart, and im serious about that.

For all of you who have only played the newer versions of the game (SNES on up) realize what your asking here... Dark world/Light world, outrageous cast of impas, gorons, and young/old link. How is ANY writer supposed to wrap that into 1 movie? Keep it simple, zelda gets kidnapped, adult link goes and saves her. Three pieces of the triforce, not 7 magic pendants, not musical instruments, and only three labrynths. (probably a forest labrynth, water/ice lab, and a volcanoe/fire lab) Each labrynth has an item in it to defeat that labrynths boss. Maybe he starts with a wood sword and gets a metal one and bombs in 1st lab, bow n arrows in 2nd lab, and mirror shield in 3rd labrynth. after obtaining that he travels in search of the master sword. Then he battles gannon, and gannon kills link (impale him with a horn), but the fairy in the bottle resurrects him, he then kills gannon, saves the princess, gets his kiss and saves hyrule. Maybe gannon already has 2 pieces of the triforce and he's in search of the 3rd.(knowing zelda IS the 3rd piece) Explaining the logic of time travel and introducing the 1000 characters is just asking too much. Keep it simple. He should start with his trusty boomerang, i love the hookshot, but the movie would be too short to introduce that. I agree orlando bloom is the best canidate for link but his legolas role rules him out. Maybe agent smith as gannondorf, he's an actor so i'm sure he could be more manical than the calm "mr. anderson" toting, MIB suit wearing baddy from the matrix series. Definitely some elaborate labrynths, like the mines of moria in LOTR.

All your suggestions linkalicious are good but still too much for one movie that's why it would be wise if thjey made a 2 or 3 part. No musical intsrument. That would kill the movie for me because i loved that. And i have a question. Does link ever get to kiss Zelda?? And are they even the same age
