Force crush was a Vader feat, and ONLY when Vader was emotionally destroyed at Padmes death. It's one thing to say "An uber wizard/Jedi can do what a lesser wizard/jedi can", but that relates to shit like Mace Windu never being shown using force push, or Sirius never shown using Crucio. Vader was the only one ever shown using the force crush thing, AND he was a wreck.
Force lightning, well, observe:
Palps was giving Luke everything he had and it wasn't killing him. Force lightning is a torturing force power, kinda like Crucio. It does NOT kill instantly. Also, Snape can speak while being hit with it.

however, the same Jedi were NEVER shown using the same speed while casting force attacks.
What does this imply? That they can't. That force attacks requires that much more to execute.
